Lemon Tree Hotel, Rajkot

The room was clean. The WiFi worked well. The breakfast was good especially the pancakes.

We have done corporate meeting at Lemons Tree on 10th Mar’25. It was nice arrangement by hotel staff, banquet space was good & food was excellent & service was too good. Hira Bhai - Banquet Manager manage very nicely & attend things properly.

I’ve been back in the UK a week so I felt it was high time to write my promised review. I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels and I’ve got to say that the friendliness of all the staff was exceptional. Starting with Sanjay on Reception - I spoke to him even before we arrived. He’s extremely patient & competent at his very important job and is surely destined for a big future. The Restaurant had a very pleasant atmosphere which was overseen by the caring F&B Assistant Manager - Kavindra Singh and brilliantly managed by Manoj Sharma (if I return in a year I fully expect him to be wearing the Manager’s suit with the super efficient Waitress - Swastika filling his position). The waiting staff there - Manuj Karmaker and the 2 Trainees - Amika & Survi were lovely & charming. Being allergic to gluten the restaurant went above and beyond in trying to fulfil my requirements. We were happy with our room on the 4th floor and I was extremely impressed with the room cleaners. A hard job and this work is often undervalued & taken for granted. Sania & Urmila ably assisted by Karen were excellent and always had a lovely smile. Requests for more water or toilet rolls were dealt with very obligingly. Around the Hotel’s entrance one was greeted by the likeable Kishinev Shukla the Security Manager who not only kept us safe but hailed rickshaws and helped with our luggage and in the reception area one often bumped into Joy - a very helpful & accommodating individual. So in summary our experience was extremely positive what with the Hotel being positioned in an area very much suiting our requirements. The only slight blemish was the laundry service. Longer staying guests like ourselves require this and the quality of the returned items was well below that of other hotels we’ve stayed in. But not to end on a sour note we would most definitely stay there again without hesitation.

The rooms are clean, the staffs are very polite , the food and the buffet are presentable, overal it was a good experience the hotel is near to Railway station , and in a very prime location, with many local options , the hotel has swimming pool even.
