I had a great time at this hotel. The only drawback was not being able to do a late checkout but it was otherwise a great place to stay.

I have stayed at The Casso Hotel in downtown Raleigh three times over the past year for work, and each stay exceeded my expectations. This hotel is a perfect spot for business travelers with its eclectic decor, solid bar, and comfortable rooms with nice beds. The central location makes it incredibly convenient, and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the smaller side, so if you need more space, ensure to book a larger room type, as upgrades are not guaranteed even with higher level status. My first stay was in a very tight room, but I learned from that experience. For my future stays, I booked corner rooms, which were much more comfortable, especially for stays spanning a few days. Daily housekeeping was standard, including a bottled water refresh, which is very appreciated. My only real critique is that the gym equipment is very sparse for such a large space. While the gym has large windows with a lot of natural light, it would be better if they added more weight training equipment as it is very light on that right now. While by no means a top-luxury hotel, but for the area, price, and the vibe of the Tribute subbrand, this hotel stands out as one of the best options in downtown Raleigh. Compared to other choices available, The Casso definitely offers a superior experience. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Raleigh for business.

Very nice hotel! Smells really nice at the entrance to the lobby!! Clean rooms, with nice decor. Professional staff. Nice bar and restaurant in the hotel which make for convenience. Walking distance to restaurants on Glenwood Avenue. Would highly recommend! Will definitely stay again when visiting Raleigh.

Came into Raleigh for 2 nights as a family of 3, with our 3 yr old. Location was great for checking out Raleigh. Room was a bit tight but had everything we need. Extremely clean. I can be super picky about bathrooms and thought this one was nice!!! Staff was super helpful and attentive. The only thing that we wish The Casso had was a pool. Otherwise- great spot! We enjoyed our visit and def would stay here again!

This hotel tries to be modernist. However, many things and services don't meet the standards. My husband and I are staying in this hotel. On the first day, there was no cleaning service. The housekeeping staff locked our door, and when I asked her to come back in 2 hours, she never did. You should also check your room for cleanliness. I found many small dirt spots on the floor, and the room was not cleaned during our 4-night stay. If you are a more traditional traveler, this hotel does not have a closet or dresser for you to put clothes in. Basically, you are living out of your suitcase. If you are staying for just a day or two, it might be fine, but for three or more days with a spouse, I would not recommend it. The hotel restaurant is called "GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT." If you go there for breakfast, your "GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT" will turn into a bad day. We left the restaurant completely disappointed and hungry. If this is a Marriott hotel chain, what is the Marriott standard for this particular hotel? My husband and I went to the restaurant for breakfast on the day we checked out. The server was nice and friendly. She took our order for coffee but tried to avoid taking our breakfast order because the chef instructed her not to take orders until he was ready. However, we waited for more than 20 minutes and tried to get her attention for our order. That's when we found out the situation. We were completely shocked.

The hotel was nice, clean and in a great location. Everything is updated and in great shape. The bathroom was spotless with great water pressure. Walkable location to bars and restaurants. We didn’t eat at the property but plenty of people were. Would definitely stay here again.
