The legendary Ithaa underwater restaurant is also very special.

Every hotel in a small island, except for the rare time of meeting, is a private beach and entertainment project. The location of the hotel is invincible and the facilities are complete.

Stunning place, Great location, White beaches, Staff very polite and care to any needs/requests you have. Water villa was stunning and cleaned to a high standard daily. Pool was at a nice temperature perfect to cool down in but not so cold you didn’t want to get in. We also swam at night and it was just right, only down fall to the Villa was the current in the sea, it’s impossible to swim in ,very dangerous in fact. Unlike other islands in the Maldives where you have a reef around the island so the water is calm and very little current this island is just open water so the water is very choppy. The water on the beaches across the island is calmer and great to swim in but water surrounding the island and villas is unsafe. Food overpriced for the Quality/ Amount of food you get. Limited Entertainment on the night. For example, a bottle of pinot Grigio wine that would cost £7 in the UK, would cost you 75 dollars (which is the cheapest wine listed) so roughly £60/£65 , A margarita pizza is 40 dollars. So yes, very expensive and the quality doesn’t really justify it. The all inclusive package doesn’t really make much sense as it’s 500++ euros roughly per night per person to upgrade but does not include all drinks on the menu and only a 65 dollar discount on your food bill, (typically your food bill is 250 dollars per night.) Resort needs to consider a better all inclusive package that reflects quality of food service. Our total bill on checkout was 2,400 USD, Thats with only dinner as we didn’t eat lunch and had maximum two drinks daily. There is also a none optional service charge and tax added on to every bill. The Restaurants have a limited menu and all feel like they serve similar food. Our host, Oybek on the other hand was brilliant, there for you at every hour of the day ready to assist, lovely and caring. Even playing a massive part in helping me propose to my girlfriend so a massive thank-you to him! All in all a Luxurious Holiday with stunning views and extensive service from the staff. Plus: - service personnel is really nice and smiling. They make this place very pleasant - great back garden looking like a jungle - good sizeable and clean rooms - good choice of water activities (not included) - still medium sized hotel, not crowded Others: - if your Maldivian dream starts with a Seaplane, note that you reach this resort by normal plane (no seaplane) from Male and boat (status October 2023) - sand bags holding property from sea erosion. I understand the unfortunate challenge with erosion, but surely can make something that looks nicer to protect the beauty of the beach and the resort at the same time - variety of food to be planned for a week stay. Though I recognize appreciated efforts to bring news in the menu through the grill

An extra bed is possible, but there is a charge, I booked directly for 3 people. There are 50 sand houses and 40 water houses built on both sides of the island. I booked the largest high-end water house on the island with a first-class environment. Breakfast is Western-style, with steak spaghetti and so on for dinner.

I really don't know where to start. I'm really grateful that I had the chance to do this life trip (I'm 39 y.o but I wanted it so badly) 1. Everything was absolutely gorgeous, wish I could add more stars! 2. We booked a sunset water Vila for 13 nights with full board meals extremely cheap (thank you covid) 3. The stuff was amazingly polite and helpful, my big thanks to the reception especially to Bandana, Carlota, Pratima and Hafsa, they very veeeery helpful and smiling too. My special thanks too Ahmed our waiter for our table no290, that unfortunately didn't have the chance to say goodbye and our new waiter Jabarrai. And my gratitude for our housekeeping guy Vishnu️️️ 4. The water villa was so spacious and the balcony too, 74sqm. 5. We had our room twice per day inspected if we needed anything to be changed or missing, like towels, shampoos, coffee etc. 6. The sunbeds on our private balcony are gorgeous and the sunset is breathtaking. 7. All the island is amazingly clean, not even a single piece of paper of cigarette is on the floor, grass or beach (big plus) 8. The variety of food every morning, afternoon and night is quite good and tasty I have to admit, more than we anticipated. 9. You can have a fresh juice or drink in the forest Cafe and its so calm, quiet and beautiful. 10. Tips are not a mandatory, but we gave to everyone that gave us a good time..... I can keep saying things all day but I think my pics are going to cover the rest!!! Thanks again for the great time we had

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Centara Grand Resort in the Maldives. The entire staff was amazing and incredibly kind throughout my stay. In particular, I must commend Nabeel for his outstanding service. His attentiveness and helpfulness truly set him apart, and he seemed like he should be the manager with his level of dedication. The Centara Grand Resort is a true paradise, and the exceptional staff, including Nabeel and Chanapha, made my stay even more memorable. I can't wait to return and experience their top-notch hospitality once again.
