A tenant next door banged and make noise all night.  I contacted the front desk, and they were supposed to check on it.  The noise continued after the call and through the night.  Upon checking out I informed the clerk about the issue, and she appear to be unconcerned.   The Wi-Fi access code did not work and there was a leak under the sink.

Great customer service, comfortable rooms.  The TV in my room does need replaced as the screen for some reason has 3 very noticeable white spots but other then that it was a great stay.

AC and Bathroom light didn’t work. Not enough towels. Bugs everywhere and couldn’t find the TV remote when I asked the lady in front had an attitude.

Better than red lion by service and cleanliness. I have previously rented here and given a dirty room, when changed to a "clean" room (which was better) the sink was clogged and flooded!

It’s still noisy with post and telecommunications. It’s close to Highway 5 and it’s convenient to travel.

So let's start with the positives, both night and day front desk folks were kind and nice. Rates affordable. That's where it ends.   Why I'll never stay there again.  1. the security latch was broken  2. the lobby smelled heavily of cigarette smoke  3. I booked a non smoking room but got a room with a heavy smell of smoke and three ash trays placed by house keeping.  4. Sheets were not fresh and contained multiple short, co****, dark hairs....several long hairs.... and little black bugs with wings on the bed cover.  5. Long hairs along the shower that weren't my color.  6. The floor wasn't swept  7. No refunds, even though I was assured a non-smoking room.  8. Multiple patrons opted to sleep in their cars instead of their rooms, which leads me to believe that I was not the only one experiencing room cleanliness issues.  9. There was one person sitting in his car filtering men out of one room every half hour or so.  10.  There is quite a bit of noise as lots of people were having loud conversations, cigarettes, etc in the parking lot of the hotel.   We stayed an hour/hour and a half and finally found a room at another hotel. We promptly left. I did not feel safe. I felt lied to when receiving a smoking room. I didn't feel safe with the security latch broken. And the questionable activity in the parking lot left me feeling uneasy. If you're in a true financial bind, this hotel is cheap and the staff are friendly. But those are the only positives I can offer you. 

I'm a budget traveler, but look for cleanliness, friendliness, and a quiet place to stay. You know that when you stay here, it's just the basics. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, the bathroom had areas where cleaning had been missed, but in general it was comfortable, clean-ish, and our dog stayed for free. I requested a quiet room and was told to stay upstairs and closer to the office, and the room was quiet. Motel 6 is no frills, and that's what you should expect if you stay here.
