Basic room and basic amenities hostel around Redfern for one night experience staying. Reception just OK.

I loved to stay here and I’ll return! The localization was perfect for me, in front of a park, near the city and public transport. The housekeeping service was every day and the staff always friendly. Another highlights were the events, my favorited : delicious BBQ and Yoga classes. Congrats for all The Village Surrey Hills! 😃

The service was very good. When we first checked in, there was an issue with the air conditioner, but reception was able to get us a different room. Overall was pretty clean, and all the staff were very friendly. The Goki app was extremely easy to use and so much easier than a physical key. Would absolutely stay there again.

This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge with some computers also connected to the internet, with a large screen TV (which was popular most evenings) Facilities to clean clothes, cook as well as relax

It was a Desaster !!!

I love this hostel extended 3 times I think maybe just some extra cleaning as haven’t seen housekeeping change the sheets inbetween stays of other customers

I have been there couple of days and beginning days were nice with 3 people but finally a Chinese guy came into our room and made our room a trash Have a look I’m gonna attached a picture down below. However, they never changed bedcover during my stay.

In the middle, there was a case of renting a whole building including the front to a group, and it was very inconvenient because I couldn't use the large kitchen and yard that I originally used well. It took them more than a week to get a spare fridge to fit enough food for their original stayers, and in the meantime the fridge in their small kitchen didn't even close. I still love this place but I'm very disappointed by the reception staff about the experience I've had. If I had told you in advance, I wouldn't have extended my reservation.

The cheapest option in sydney! The facilities are relatively new, and the kitchen and bathroom is pretty clean. I love the free bbq friday night and free pancakes on Sunday morning. It's a shame that the bus or train stops are far away. And I have to set my own bed, and sometimes I'm confused because I already have a load on the bed that's been assigned as mine.

I love their staff, very nice and helpful

The place is easy to be found on Uber or Google map. It's walking distance from the subway and bus station (about 10 mins). The room has necessary facilities. Towels Can be loaned from the reception at a 2 AUD deposite. A lot of international travellers stay there. The reception and the room buildings can be in 2 different blocks. Need to use the App Goki with Bluetooth to access both buildings and the room.
