One&Only Reethi Rah

Nice property, staff are polite. Poorly managed hotel, staff are not trained. Specifically F&B staff. If you care about food quality and cleanliness avoid this hotel. Certainly not an experience you would expect from the One&Only brand.

It is hard to put into words the experience we had at One & Only, everything was unbelievable from the moment we arrived, to the moment Ali dropped us off at our airport gate - a wonderful service given and great chats had :) The island is so luscious and stunning everywhere you look. Our vila was incredible, with the most spectacular views. Spacious and luxurious. Our host Oopvan looked after us, nothing was too much for him. The food and drinks were amazing - so delicious, no complaints at all! And the service was 10/10 every time. Since it was our honeymoon, One & Only staff made it a super special experience for us, we were blown away and in complete disbelief. The spa and gym was also incredible, we felt so pampered and relaxed during our stay. There were also complimentary activities, my husband took part in a tennis clinic and it ended up being 1:1! Snorkel gear was also complimentary. The buggy drivers were also so wonderful! We had the most amazing time here for our honeymoon and felt emotional leaving, we will certainly be back for another special occasion. We cannot share our gratification enough

One and Only is the Only One that is 1000% consistent however long after you return you will find it utterly charming and the staff (each and every one) so delightful. They seem very well looked after and happy which is part of the sense of fairness and generosity. This was less present at some other resorts even though they rank as the most expensive and high end resorts. The water villas are cleaner and definitely crisper than the beach villas but the beach villas do give the real Maldivian feel walking straight out on to the sand and the pool is much bigger versus the water villa pool. Privacy wise they are kind of the same - depends more on orientation. Food wise would love to see a wider selection of food on the room service menu although choice was pretty good also catering for dietary restrictions very well. The In room dining operator was one of the best as not once did she make any mistake with our sometimes complicated orders (to ask allergen free meals). This resort is 100% pure quality - you can't go wrong. They are having works done at Tamasake restaurant but they are very transparent about this. I would avoid any villas close by as they do work late in the night too. Only one tiny thing is I would freshen up some of the beach villas. The one we stayed in smelled a bit when we arrived but it was visibly spotless so was more some kind of lingering smells which sometimes hard to avoid in the heat. I would leave 3/4 hours between end of clean and next check in and turn AC on full to 'freeze' off any lingering odours. That literally is the only thing I can say from 7 nights of a blissful and perfect stay.

Such as beautiful property and superb service. We stayed at the resort for 5 days and from landing at Male were floored by the hospitality of the property. Beautiful island so well maintained. Food at all the restaurants is amazing. They offer special food and drink nights ... i had the steak and whiskey dinner which was fab This property is by far the best service and hospitality from any other properties i have been to and really special
