We really liked the hotel, the room was quite large and the staff was very friendly. The journey by car is a bit awkward, but also doable. We'd love to come back.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Zimmer sind relativ groß und das Frühstück ist absolut ausreichend. Größter Kritikpunkt aber die Temperatur auf den Zimmern. Nachts mit geöffneten Fenster und Ventilator 29 Grad im Zimmer. Für ein Hotel in der Preisklasse absolut nicht tragbar.

Superhotel, Zimmer zwar älter, aber cosy, Personal sehr freundlich und effizient. Sicherer Parkplatz in Tiefgarage. 17 Euro ok. Sehr gutes Frühstück und Italien-Buffet am Donnerstag- und Freitagabend. Frische ware, "succulent" Antipasti.

The Sorat Insel-Hotel was a nice hotel in a GREAT location! The river/Old Town view from our room was AWESOME! It was just a short walk across a bridge to the Old Town of Regensburg. The room was large, clean and had comfortable beds. It did not have air conditioning, but was very comfortable while we were there. The hotel restaurant breakfast had lots of choices for 17 euro. The hot chocolate at breakfast was not worth 12 euro! There are a lot of restaurants within a short walk. We would definitely stay here again.

Das Servicepersonal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Service ist umfangreich. An der Bar werden auch ausgefallene Wünsche erfüllt. Der Check-in, die Parkmöglichkeit in der Tiefgarage und der Check-out sind äußerst kundenfreundlich. Dazu noch die erstklassige Lage und der Charme der Regensburger Innenstadt. Was will man mehr?

I decided to start our trip through Europe as I used to live in this area for eight years. This is a fabulous hotel with a wonderful staff. We have a rental car and parking is available on-site and is extremely convenient, there is an extra cost. Rooms are in excellent condition, decent size. Spent two wonderful days in Regensburg before we moved on. Travelers you won't be disappointed here.
