If the room is good and comfortable, although small, it is the breakfast that is lacking. The schedules, first of all. Finishing the service at 9:30 a.m. is too short. 10:00 would be a plus. Quality, then. There is clearly a lack of choice. There is no dairy (plain yogurt). The pastries are of poor quality. The bread, a little hard. The choice of sugar served with a spoon is decidedly not hygienic, the same goes for jam (which is of poor quality) and cottage cheese.

Clean, good breakfast. Very comfortable room for a family with one child. The location is convenient for travelers from the UK and want to rest for an evening or two. There is petrol station near, also parking free. Good prices and recommend.

The Receptionist was very polite and told me everything I needed to know. The food on offer at the adjacent Mercure hotel was so-so but service was quick. The room was a little scruffy (paintwork scuffed and bathroom in need of a deep clean due to scum and mould at the bottom of the shower). The bed had a nasty synthetic mattress protector which made for a sweaty night's sleep but was otherwise okay. The TV in the room was enormous and had a good range of French TV channels. The breakfast was fine but a fresh fruit salad rather than a processed one would have been better. Overall I would say that this hotel offered good value as a stopover hotel either to/from Calais en route to the South of France.
