The hotel was perfect for visiting Iceland. Clean, new, with sleek decor. It was actually prefect for the rate and this type of trip. As a Hilton gold member, I had access to the spa amenities and daily breakfast. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would note would be the lack of air conditioning controls in the room. I don’t think you can control your ac/ heat as the room only had a thermostat that you can raise up or down but couldn’t select cold or hot. The room did get stuffy at night so we had to open the window for air. Also my room faced the wall. There was absolutely nothing to look at other than a concrete wall. Other than that, our stay was great and the price was very reasonable. I booked a massage the last day of my stay and I enjoyed the spa offerings.

Arrived at the hotel around 2am. The door was closed and the intercom was not found. I knocked on the door and finally got inside, but for a moment I was impatient as if I was going to spend my time outside the hotel in the cold weather. I would like to have an intercom. The location is perfect in the center of town. The rooms are clean, but you can't expect amenities like in Japan at all, and there are only the bare minimum. You must bring your own toothbrush and razor. The reception is nice. The breakfast is simple, almost the same menu every day, and after 5 nights, I get tired of it. There is a famous hot dog shop in the back, but there is always a line and the price is about 700 yen in Japanese yen. It's delicious, but there's nothing special about it, so it's just a souvenir story. The front door is locked from night until 7:00 am, so you need to carry your room key with you at all times. The room key is a card type, but it is made of wood.
