Hotel Ísland – Spa & Wellness Hotel Reviews

The stay was awful. We stayed here for three nights and the room hadn’t been properly cleaned every single day. On one particular night, the bin bag hasn’t been changed as well. Also when we first arrived, the bedsheets had holes everywhere and the whole bedding seemed dusty. Since all the cleaners were off duty, we had to change it ourselves. Even worse, the kettle were full of boiled milk stinks and it was absolutely stomach-turning and it smelled like puke, it still haunts me now. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is too far away from town centre, it takes a long time to walk there if u don’t have a car. Another thing is that the bathroom is tiny as hell, its hard to turn around and it only fits one person. However, overall the stuff were nice and helpful. Moreover, it was convenient to have multiple of free parking spaces near the hotel.

Equipment may be a bit too old, but still not bad.

My granddaughter and I enjoyed our overnight and the location was great for local sightseeing. Very helpful staff with respect to local eateries, etc.

Great hotel. Faboulous size family room for 2 adults and 2 teens- proper big and comfy beds for all and no sofa beds! Lovely buffet style breakfast with hot and cold food. We like the location which is about 20mins wslk to town centre but local to fantastic swimming pool with lots of thermal springs of varying temperature. Hotel had free parking so was very convenient for us with hire car. Spa within hotel was also a bonus. Resturant and bar within hotel served great food. All staff was friendly and helpful. If we ever go back to zIceland will definitely stay here again.

The bathroom smelled like reflux, and the most important thing was that Icelanders started decorating at 6 o'clock in the morning, and the whole room was shaking when the electric drill was drilled.

The hotel is very nice, has a domestic feel, and the bed is very comfortable

The room is big, the front desk is very enthusiastic, and can help you call a taxi Luggage can be temporarily stored. The location is a bit out of the way. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the city center

For East Asians, a true "hotel" with complete services and equipment is still very good. Parking is right at the door, which is more convenient. It is some distance from the city center attractions, so it is not convenient for self-driving tourists.

The room was very clean. You need to bring your own toiletries and slippers.

Apart from being far away from the city center, there are no disadvantages.
