The apartment had everything we needed, plus it was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Although it was located slightly further from the tourist attractions and eateries, it was well-connected via bus routes. All in all, highly recommended for families.

Apartment is clean, spacious and nice views. Near restaurants and convenience store. Excellent and friendly service throughout our stay, keep it up!!

A very very comfortable hotel. Except for the small window on the balcony which has a little air leakage, there is nothing wrong with it. It is also very close to stop 12 and it is very convenient to walk to the city center. I highly recommend it

The location is far away from the city and not very convenient.

Overall good. The heating is sufficient, close to the bus station, and the room is spacious. However, when booking, the picture showed a high-rise exterior, but when I got there, I found it was on the first floor; the instructions for taking out the garbage were unclear and too troublesome; there was only one toilet, which was very inconvenient.

Disgusting - booked for 5 nights and arrived very late on Saturday at 1am to an apartment that had not been cleaned! Dirty towels piled up in corner, dirty bed linen, dirty floors and a dirty toilet! Contacted providers and awful customer service - told us to move to another property at 1.30 am, and to go back the next day - no apology given - when told it was unacceptable they just said would clean the next day - moved to a hotel and requested a refund and they have vanished! Will be claiming through bank as fraudulent as it did not match description!

We stayed with a family of three in an apartment for four days and are very happy with our choice. We booked on the official Heimaleiga website and got a 10% discount, their support team works 24/7 and the guys are very friendly. There were no problems with the booking and we received an email with a very simple description of the rules of residence, descriptions of the available gadgets and instructions for their use with photos. Online check-in and check-out, code lock - everything is simple and clear. In the neighboring house there is a bonus supermarket, in the house opposite there is a Polish grocery store, 5-7 minutes walk - and you are on the central street Laugarvegur. We are very happy with everything and will only stay here in the future.

The space in this apartment-hotel was great, very large and lots of room to spread. The kitchen was well equipped and there's a ton of natural daylight. Its location is on one end of the "main" pedestrian walk full of shops, restaurants, and bars. It needs just a bit of TLC of some obvious items that are broken, such as door handles, which baffles me as to why they haven't sent someone to tighten the 3 loose door handles, it will take a totalof 30 minutes to fix them! We would stay here again.

A modern and spacious apartment, very well lit - we really enjoyed the huge windows. It is well equipped with attention to details. Staff were responsive to any questions we had and check-in and out was easy. Great location - we would go back.

We had a fantastic stay at Sif Apartments in Reykjavik. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with our 2 teenage boys. The apartment was really clean and well laid out and kitchen well equipped. Having 2 bathrooms was really handy. The covered balcony was a really nice touch. It was within walking distance to the city centre and about a minute walk to bus stop 12 for most tour pickups. It was quiet in the neighbourhood so nice and quiet. The communication was excellent throughout and we knew exactly what we needed to do. There are grocery shops close by so we cooked most nights and made sandwiches for the day to try and shield ourselves from the prices We had a car which we parked in the underground car park. This was probably the only negative it’s quite expensive and the parking app pretty rubbish along with the pay machine. It scans your number plate on entry but when you leave you still have to put in your entry time. It was all a little weird and easy to get wrong. It is an underground car park though so protected from the elements! Overall a very positive experience and we will definitely stay again if in Reykjavík. Plus we saw the Northern Lights which was a massive bonus!

BEWARE: Despite good reviews booked and arrived at apartment, stinking of urine! Advised on entry, no resolution other than cleaner to clean the sofa stinking of urine.Sofa still stunk out apartment with no option to move, but told ' hope doesn't spoil stay'. Never again! £1000 for 5 days, whilst Iceland is expensive much better properties with a customer service that cares rather than enjoy 5 days of the smell of urine with no resolution other than just bear it and enjoy your stay!!
