The location is not the best but 20 minutes walk from the downtown is acceptable. Love the designs of the hotel and the amenities. The room is very spacious and has most of the things you’d need for a stay. It is really nice to see coffee machine and fruits in room. Everything is very neat and tidy. However, the check-in process was not satisfactory. It is really hard to reach out to a staff in the hotel. The self-check-in process requires an email from the hotel that tells you the room number and passcode. Since the only pin is got was the booking pin but not the check-in pin, it took me long time to realise I did not possess the check-in pin to enter the hotel. The hotline provided by the hotel was not working at all. Thankfully trip.com’s CS was really helpful in contacting the hotel for me. The hotel’s staff were really friendly and polite but the fact that I didn’t receive the room no and passcode beforehand was still very frustrating. Therefore the best advice to book this hotel is to check whether you have the room number and passcode at least 1-2 days before your stay. Other than the check-in issue, I had a nice stay here.

The hotel is self-serviced so you have to check in by yourself.

Overall it's clean and the space is not very big. It's just right for one person. Unmanaged hotels still make tourists feel a little uneasy. It’s not very convenient to contact us. I happened to meet a pair of Singaporean tourists. They didn’t receive the room code and were struggling outside the hotel for a long time.

The hotel is very comfortable. The sofa bed was already opened when we arrived. Remember to tell the hotel in advance how many people will be there. But it is self check-in, so please explain it clearly. But the overall feeling is good

The most complicated part was checking in. To open the combination lock at the entrance, you had to call a number from your cell phone. The hotel operates completely without staff. The rooms are large, there was a fridge, kettle, glasses and a few capsules - unfortunately there wasn't enough storage space. During our 1 week stay there was no cleaning, no trash cans emptied, and no new bed linen. But the price is extremely cheap, despite the dirt we would come back.

Because I couldn't return, I stayed the second night. There was no heating like the first night. I contacted Ctrip, and Ctrip contacted the hotel, but the hotel said no one could fix it. Okay, it’s really cold in winter. The guest rooms were not cleaned in any way. And they didn’t proactively send me the password for the next day. I contacted Ctrip customer service before sending it to me. But that code was not activated, so I was locked out again. I was locked out three times during my two-night stay, and the hotel did not offer any apology or compensation. Very rubbish!

I arrived at the hotel at one o'clock in the morning. It turned out to be a self-service check-in, but I didn't receive any notification. I finally asked trip customer service to solve the problem, but the experience was very poor! The hot water was very slow, it took almost 15 minutes to get it. Other environments are very good

The hotel needs to make a reservation and prepay before giving you the password and room number! Now that we have passed the non-cancellable event, why doesn't Trip.com directly confirm with the hotel in advance and give the guest the password room number. We didn't have a coded room number, and the hotel didn't even have a front desk. We had to negotiate with an intercom at the door where the temperature was extremely low and wind-cooled, and we finally had to hold an ice bar to get the code and enter the lobby. This was the worst experience in my life and I have stayed in hotels thousands of nights in my life! First time encountering this kind of thing. The name of this hotel is also called a hotel, not a B&B. How come it has such service? Moreover, the customer service of the walkie-talkie can only speak English. My two friends who are with me cannot speak English. What would I do if I am not there? So please trip.com pay attention to hotels that require a password room number in advance to check in. Have an explanation to the guests Thanks.

A youth hostel-style hotel without a front desk is more cost-effective, but parking in the surrounding area is difficult and parking spaces are limited.

A staffless hotel with quick responses from them by email. I still have a couple of things to point out. First of all, the code they provided me with in the first place before I arrived did not work for the entrance, so I wouldn't be able to get in until a guest in the lobby opened the door for me. That said, if no guests were in the lobby when I arrived, I could be exposed to the strong wind in Reykjavik for hours, which happened to me the second day, because the code did not work. According to the receptionist, there's only one code for the main entrance and my room, but in my case, two different codes were required!!! Their cleaning staff verified this. Second of all, although the cleaning staff physically present were super friendly, the room wasn't quite clean, I saw garbage left behind the headboard of my bed. Third of all, the washroom fan was so loud that I wasn't able to fall asleep unless I put my earplugs on. True, they offered me another room opposite from mine, but that happened one day after I emailed them and when I was trying to access that room with the code they gave me my last day there, the code did NOT work!!!!!! Another thing, just bad luck, my room faced a construction site, so the strong wind outside the hotel made the cloth covering at the construction site flap around like crazy. It was sooooooo noisy.

The room was very nice. The location was good. FYI--parking is on the street (other side of the entrance door is the best place to park). The only issue was getting in. We had to call because our code to get in didn't work at first.
