King Arthur Hotel

Lovely place. Simple basic rooms but everything you need plus very nice staff and nice pub downstairs. It was a great place to stay for a nearby wedding. Thank you!

I paid nearly £17 for a ‘cannelloni’ which was congealed slop. Previously visited and had great fresh food, but this was cheap pub grub. Microwaved and burnt. Raised with waiting staff, but they were not interested. Shrugged shoulders and told that it was ‘oven roasted’?! Best avoided. Poor customer service.

A fabulous, friendly hotel. Great food, beer and atmosphere. Lovely comfortable room, friendly and weloming staff. Would highly reccomend! Will be back!

Absolutely amazing accommodations! The rooms were easily accessible, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and pub food were incredibly delicious, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. This place is a gem!!

The king Arthur is an out of the way and a over rated venue and restaurant. The food was only average to good but way over priced for what we got. I will not be rushing back here. The atmosphere was ok and the staff were friendly and helpful but very young and inexperienced in my.view.

It was our first time staying at King Authur Hotel. Having drove past a few times and finding the location with it's scenic appeal enticing to unwind from work stressers, we decided to book a stay. The room was clean, the grounds were beautifully kept giving the romantic feel to enjoy a warm summer evening in. Staff were very friendly and the locals were welcoming. The highlight of our stay has to be the view from our room (17) with rolling hills and greenery as far as the eye can see. There was a variety of pub grub available in the restaurant with a specials menu to chose from also. We ordered the lasagne and swordfish. We aren't big foodies people and although the meals were tasty it's unlikely we would order those again. Plenty of parking available at the rear of the property. Can be busy with locals. As a newly engaged couple it peaked our interest in booking here for our reception. Unfortunately our TV in the room didn't work but everything else was the perfect blend of peaceful and relaxing resulting in need to book again very soon.
