Hotels near Core Active - Pilates Studio, Rheinbach

This hotel is not close to Bonn; city centre bit of in the middle of nowhere , no access to food or shops. The longest checkin was at this hotel if they take this long they should provide a chair as checkin takes ages for one person. Hotel was not busy at all. It is a bit of dated hotel, no room service, restaurant closes at 9pm limited choices. The room was basic no fridge and ask for amenities. The bed was a strange low bed, not European standard with thin layer of sheet and duvet. No taxi service available if or airport pick up. Just did not seem 4* experience at all. No Accor member benefits. ( no water provided). Breakfast- basic but at least some vegetarian options and some labelled and some not. Checkout was a lot smoother and done well by the staff.

Wo man hinschaut, lässt sich etwas entdecken. Die Mischung aus Kitsch und Kunst mag manch einen überfordern- mir gefällt es! (Und ebenso meinen Mitreisenden…) Das bunte Sammelsurium an Bildern, Figuren, Möbeln, Lampen und Wandgemälden/-farben ist verrückt-großartig. Dazu ist alles sauber, gemütlich und großräumig (gilt zumindest für die beiden Zimmer, die ich sehen konnte) und das Bad ist ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Wasser und „Betthupferl“ gab es obendrein. Einzig die Federbetten und -kissen haben mich gestört. Schon bei der Ankunft gab es einen herzlichen Empfang. Unsere Taschen wurden (später) aufs Zimmer gebracht, denn wir haben uns gleich nach dem Begrüßungssekt und der süßen Aufmerksamkeit Dank des organisierten Shuttleservice auf den Weg in die Therme gemacht. Der Fahrer hat uns dort abends auch wieder pünktlich abgeholt und zum Hotel zurückgebracht. Zu jedem „Schlummertrunk“ gab es im Wintergarten des Hotels eine kleine Schale mit Erdnüssen, bzw. Käse und Trauben. Auch das Frühstück hielt, was es versprach: eine reichhaltige Auswahl an Broten und Brötchen, süßem und deftigem Belag, warme und kalte Speisen, Obst und Rohkost, Getränke und Müsli… mit Sicherheit habe ich nicht alles aufgeführt. Alles war liebevoll angerichtet und auch hier zeigte sich die Liebe zu spielerischen Details: wie z.B. beim Bananen-Delfin oder den Apfel-oder Gurken-Spiraltürmchen. Sämtliches Personal mit dem wir Kontakt hatten war freundlich und zuvorkommend und gab eine das Gefühl, wirklich willkommen zu sein. Danke für den besonderen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Haus- ganz so, wie es an unserer Zimmertür stand: I make you smile. Es war der erste, aber sicherlich nicht der letzte Besuch!

Moderne und saubere Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr gut, das Bad sauber und ruhig ist es auch. Die Betten sind auch genau richtig für mein Rücken. Ich habe mich mit meiner Tochter sehr wohl gefühlt. Haben nach dem Frühstück noch etwas im Bett gelungert.

Experience stay with camping retro feeling! Great idea (indoor camping with old living/rail cars, living cars, and even a cable gondol) to the smallest details lovely implemented, for example with suitable seats before the theme cars and decorations. Community sanitary facilities (as usual in the camping) are very well equipped and clean, in the toilet tract no mief and a lot of paper stock. Breakfast is available on a large built-in empore, also here original design details, it is relatively easy held, but absolutely sufficient (I actually missed only cooked eggs) and properly presented, Also is always checked whether something is missing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And lastly, the price-performance ratio is also true! If I need a night stay in the Bonn room again, I will be very happy to come back! Tip: Before booking, check whether the room and ”comfort” offers of the selected accommodation also meet their own requirements and physical requirements. For example, the old bed car sections are very closely connected, The beds are very narrow and when they are located with 2 people one must climb his bed per head (this was just the old bed cars). I had booked the department alone, I reached the place (I was used to ”tack garage” and isomate). :-)

This hotel checked off every block. Clean, excellent location, awesome breakfast, great customer service, and very good amenities. The thermal pool was closed for renovations but we didn’t come here for that. The town is full of charm and everyone was so friendly. The only downfall is that the smoking area is apparently right next to the revolving doors, therefore the lobby reeks of smoke. We didn’t come here to visit in the lobby either, but my suggestion would be to move the smoking area AWAY from the door.

The breakfast was great and the restaurant was beautiful and looked at the Rhine. Parking is free, but it is actually stopping the road outside the hotel. Some of them are 120-year-old buildings, but some rooms are newly decorated with a large smell. I changed the room once. There is no air conditioning. All of the air conditioners are free to use. We stayed for a couple of nights at the Kameha Grand in Bonn. The location is great for walking and cycling and about 15 mins drive from the centre of Bonn on the other sider of the river. Lots of very safe cycle paths everywhere. Our junior suite was large and very comfortable. Strangely, the mini-bar was empty, but I did not find out why. The styling would not be to everyones taste, but I certainly liked it and the hotel is flooded with light. Breakfast was very good with the usual offerings. We made use of the swimming pool on the 3rd floor in the spa, which was heated and overlooks the Rhine. We found the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable throughout. We used Uber to get around Bonn, although the service only recently came to Bonn and the service was a bit patchy. Be prepared to wait for longer than you would in bigger cities such as Berlin. We did not try any of the restaurants at the Kameha as we were only there for a short while. If anyone needs a recommendation, try Oscar in der Remise, about 8 minutes away by car. For travellers to Germany, bring cash as the country is still behind the times and a bit analogue. The lovely Rheinlust beer garden about 10mins drive away does not accept any form of credit cards. Some taxi drivers also struggled with electronic payment. Looking forward to returning to the Kameha

A very nice place to stay. We have combined it with a visit to Phantasialand. Car 5 min drive and running about 20/25 min. Reception was very friendly and helpful. I was clearly explained, eventually wanted to call a restaurant to book when I asked for dinner options internly. They have (gratis) small hairs you can pick up. It is certainly not worth dinner for me, but they say so too. On the corridors, free water and water with bubbles. To get other (fresh and alcoholic) drinks at a small price. You write your room number, with what you have taken from the refrigerator and with the dishing it is counted. Our room was on the first floor and it was warm! No air-conditioning, and only the window open was no option ivm muggen, flying and wespen. TV did not. WiFi did it perfectly in the room. Shower was fine and it was in the evening and in the night quiet. Breakfast was fine and for everyone whatever he wants. Parking is free.
