Spouse and I spent 4 nites at the Baker House B&B. George greeted us, gave us a tour and helped carry our bags to our room. Our room was awesome with two sitting areas and windows on three sides. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was top of the line. Breakfast each morning was good with a creative dish and fresh fruit. George and Sandra were perfect hosts—with excellent recommendations for dinners and sight seeing. George and Sandra are restoring this ~1870s home by themselves. The history and efforts for preservation are just one reason to stay. We hope to be back!

This was our third stay at the Baker House! The hospitality shown the guests by hosts George and Sandra is outstanding as are the breakfasts and the discussions at the breakfast table! The rooms are cozy and comfortable and the B&B is in walking distance of some excellent restaurants. When in Rhinebeck this is where we stay!

We had our eye on The Baker House for quite some time but it’s usually fully booked so when a last minute opening showed up, we jumped at the opportunity and are so glad we did. What an interesting and lovely place! George and Sandra were so welcoming and accommodating and our room, The Gardener’s Room, was such a private and peaceful place to enjoy our long weekend in Rhinebeck. The walk to downtown Rhinebeck is short and pleasant with plenty of options for shopping, eating, or just strolling around the gorgeous town. There are many other ways to enjoy the beautiful nature in the area as well. We highly recommend a stay at The Baker House and hope to return next time we visit Rhinebeck!

What a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. The room was super comfortable, the house is decorated with gorgeous antiques, the food is delicious, the bed and pillows comfy, and the hosts are super friendly and accommodating! I hope to come again soon!

We loved the Baker House! George & Sandra are amazing hosts, and we loved everything about our stay. The room was comfy and cozy yet also quite spacious. The bathroom was terrific with beautiful old claw foot tub and roomy shower. The location of the Baker House can't be beat, as we could walk to town in 3 minutes, and not have to worry about parking when we went out to dinner. The breakfasts were delicious, and George is incredibly knowledgable about innumerable topics. Our highest recommendation!

Our trip to Rhinebeck was made even better by our stay at The Baker House Bed & Breakfast. George and Sandra, and their family, were wonderful hosts! My room, The Artist's Room, was very comfortable and a nice place to hang out in during down time. The en suite bathroom was large and very clean, with a great shower. The breakfasts were amazingly delicious, and you won't leave hungry. If you do find yourself hungry, though, they have wonderful recommendations for lunch or dinner in town, and the B&B is just an easy 5 minute walk to the center of Market Street. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

The Baker House is beautifully decorated and the Writer’s room is large and comfortable with a wonderful shower. Our breakfasts were delicious and they catered to my husband’s dietary needs. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and we highly recommend Baker House.

The room was clean and neat. Everything was comfortable. The innkeepers, George and Sandra were very friendly and responsive to our requests. Sandra‘s breakfast, which she prepared each morning, was delicious. I highly recommend going to the Baker House B&B and being the guest of George and Sandra.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely, with each room full of fascinating antique furniture, decor, and even books. Renovations have been carefully made to facilitate the comfort of the guests without sacrificing the home's nineteenth-century charm. The owners themselves were working on landscaping during our stay. Breakfasts -- prepared by our hosts -- were delicious, and used fruits and vegetables grown in the home's own garden.
