A truly very special place. You feel home from the very first moment you step into this house. The warm welcome by the owners, the beautiful and authentic interior design, the cozy courtyard, the piano player in the evening, the most charming room and all those other small, but very important details make of Kokkini Porta Rossa a very unique place to stay where you enjoy every second of it. Hospitality at its finest! We enjoyed our stay very much and wished to be able to stay longer. You don’t want to leave this place! We will be back, for sure, and next time a bit longer. Nikos and Angela provided us with an experience that was a "Dream come true." The hotel in the old city is unique, magnificently furnished and accomodations were extraordinary. The breakfast menu was delicious and healthy. Nikos takes care of everything. He provided a tablet, discussed our interests and suggested an itinerary with GPS to guide us to restaurants and sites of interest. A service beyond any Concierge service imaginable. We had the best stay at Kokkini Porta Rossa in Old Town Rhodes. The room was comfortable, clean, charming, and historic. We enjoyed our breakfast in the beautiful garden daily. Each day was slightly different and equally delicious. Nikos was extremely helpful in helping us to plan out our time in Old Town. Their Webb app had restaurant, bar and sight seeing suggestions tailored to us. He was able to help us plan a day trip to Simi Island. He also provided us with excellent suggestions for our next destination in Lindos. We enjoyed cocktails in the beautiful sitting room and chatting with Paris and hearing him play the piano. We hope to be back again one day!

Beautiful boutique hotel in the old town, Amazing hospitality, Nikos and his wife are so friendly and welcoming. Nikos is Very helpful .breakfast is very special, all home made. The rooms are so clean and beautiful.. We loved it! One of the most special places we ever stayed !! Highly recommended.

Kókkini Porta Rossa is a real gem set just inside the medieval walls within walking distance of the whole town and its many attractions. The beautiful interiors were a delight, thoughtfully finished with a carefully curated selection of furniture, artwork, books, etc and the suites with everything you could ever need. The hosts Nikos, Angela, Paris & Giulia made the experience very special from the lovely breakfasts to the pre & post dinner drinks - again all carefully selected. We relied heavily on Nikos for his insight in to what we should see and where to eat. I don't believe Kókkini Porta Rossa could be bettered.

Just an amazing experience. Imagine waking up in a 14th century fortress with beautiful amenities, wonderful and extraordinarily prepared breakfasts by our host, and expert tips on travel. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Their hospitality like their custom blended wine is available at no charge to their guests. Anything that is requested to make your stay even more enjoyable such as restaurants, travel suggestions, car rentals etc are done removing the guess work. I can’t wait to return one day.

From the moment we walked into the door, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Nikkos, Angela and Paris have created the highest level of boutique hotel with exceptional personalized experiences. We had a very short stay, so Nikkos made sure that we filled every moment with the tour highlights very efficiently. Returning after a busy day of touring, Paris was at the piano filling the lobby with his beautiful music, drinks and wine were available in the living room and conversation waiting in the atrium, if you wanted to share your excitement after the day. The included breakfast was a dining experience. The table was beautifully set and Julia provided excellent service with impeccable food. Our room was over the top. It was authentically and beautifully decorated with extra personal touches to make it feel more like a guest room than a hotel space. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Kókkini Porta Rossa. We will be returning to stay here again! Not only was the stay amazing, Nikkos took a personal interest in our visit. We were visiting Rhodes to see the land where my grandfather was born. After some conversation, Nikkos found family that I never knew that I had. Our trip turned into a family reunion of giant and emotional proportions for all. Thank you!!!!!!!

O hotel é excepcional. A propriedade, situada em meio à cidade antiga de Rodes, está na melhor localização da ilha e possui um serviço extraordinário. A recepção é calorosa e todos fazem o hóspede sentir como se estivesse em casa. A nossa suíte (Deniz) é excepcional, espaçosa, confortável e tem uma bela vista para a muralha. O casal de proprietários, Nikos e Angela, são pessoas excepcionais. Além da incrível propriedade e da diária que inclui todos os itens disponíveis na suíte e no bar, as sugestões de atividades foram excelentes. O passeio de barco para Halki e Alimia foi perfeito (lugar paradisíaco e longe das multidões), a guia (Kalloudi) que nos acompanhou durante algumas horas pela cidade antiga também foi excelente. Outro destaque vai para o app do hotel, que contém inúmeras sugestões de lugares a visitar, de restaurantes, sorveterias e outras atividades. Além disso, o app contém sugestões exclusivas para o hóspede de acordo com o perfil e desejos de cada um! Nosso único arrependimento foi o de ter ficado apenas dois dias, mas esperamos conseguir voltar futuramente!

First the hotel: a perfect oasis of calm, warmth and serenity within Rhodes Old Town. The hotel buildings’ renovation was outstanding (undertaken by the owner Nikos) creating such a lovely environment of a very personal hotel. The room we stayed in was a most comfortable studio (Irini) a lounge sitting area, large bathroom with shower and bath with an upstairs mezzanine bed. A 4 course breakfast was taken in relaxed style in the delightful walled garden: all home prepared local specialties: so no need for lunch! We have never previously encountered a hotelier so keen and enthusiastic to share their knowledge of their town - including a superb App which puts all hotel chains App efforts to shame. This ensured guests can make the most of their time staying at Kokkini Porta Rossa. Without doubt the family at the heart of this establishment are the real stars of Kokkini Porta Rossa led by Nikos. They genuinely want you to relax and enjoy your stay: and we did!
