Food - Breakfast: good selection, eggs cooked fresh, orange juice, water and hot drinks provided to table Evening: lovely menu options and a couple of themed evenings. Very delicious with great views. Service: very hit and miss, especially at breakfast, so many staff wandering around but nobody to take your orders. When you sit someone down, take their drink order and leave a menu. I think there are so many staff they don’t know who has done what and then you are left asking for service. Room - Cleanliness: very clean, cleaned daily with daily turndown. Everything you need in the room. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. TV was not set up properly and no use of Chromecast which has the functionality available which is a shame. None of the functions buttons worked and date was set incorrectly (1 January 1970!). I did ask one of the staff members if it’s set up to do this and he said no. The most I could do was play my radio through the TV. If you have these smart TVs available, set them up for use as people should be able to cast shows and movies from mobile devices to TV. Issue with my safe on arrival and wasn’t working and they had someone out to fix it that evening which was good, this did happen twice!I had room with a pool which was lovely, and outdoor towels are provided. Arrival: welcomed with a welcome drink, whilst they check you in. Signed paperwork and waited to be shown to room. I sat there for ages until I went up and asked for an update and they said my room was ready. Not ideal when you have been travelling so long. The staff had changed so maybe they just didn’t communicate well enough but they should have told me the room was ready once I had finished my drink. Spa: I visited the spa a few times, the treatments were wonderful and very relaxing. I had the therapist Olga both times and she’s was brilliant, very attentive and checked on pressure and flow of the treatment, giving good aftercare advice too. Thank you Olga! I think the biggest issue I had was the staff service which was hit and miss, just poor communication between them which let them down, and when I was leaving I witnessed some conflict between two staff members which was very visible they were clearly having an argument which wasn’t very professional, take it off the floor!
