Okie doak.. back about a week or so and only my opinion...roll... Arrival (late flight).. easy peasy.. only saw Kontas the once when checking In.. a nice guy. Snacks left in fridge.👍 Room: decent Sea View with Sunset, and overall room was adequate. Only gripe.. the water leaking under shower door into room.. roll up a towel or 2 🫤. Room Staff did a good job cleaning room. Air Con is 🙌. Had an issue with Door Card Key coupla days later.. faulty wire.. sorted.. no problem.. happy days. Restaurant: Good variety of food over the different meal times and was a fairly tasty standard. Drinks on tap.. including the wines. Wines and the one beer choice were at best ok. Soft drinks good.. Cappachinos good. Was no real issue with queues or seating.. did get busy outside seating at times. Gotta say.. the restaurant staff deserve a 👏 .. they are the unsung stars.. work hard in a pleasant way.. well done to them.. suggest a pay raise 😉. Pool Bar: Smiley George (a nice guy) and team do a very good job. Liked the sunken bar in pool. My main disappointment tho (mainly not their fault) is the standard of cocktails.. sorry to say maybe worse I've had..(and I've wandered all over the globe). This is due i believe to the quality of spirits and also not the proper ingredients to make the majority of cocktails.. tried most if not all of them.. I had my favourite cocktail Pina Colada (was yellow)....once. Reception: Were helpful, friendly enough and always on hand to advise when needed. Animation Team: Not always going to be for everyone. They're trained to be enthused.. it gives an added option to chillin at pool and beach. Water Polo was fun.. tho the next day off the menu.. the nets looked like Jaws had a chew at them (shark theme in this review continues further down⬇️)... they were well overdue a change... hopefully they are now replaced. In particular.. The two lovely gals that take Water Aqua / Zumba are great.. lotta energy and good vibes.. had a grand wee chat with the Swedish gal (sorry I can't remem name).. the other lady in question Agata.. is a real talent.. great to chat with and knocks them moves out at the pool and on stage. Does a real mean Can Can too! Your a wee gem. Leslie is you could say.. a lively fella! He has a decent singing voice if you catch him on mic. Nicely onto Entertainment: Kinda hit n miss to be honest. Maybe bit more hit.. The Jazz act I enjoyed the most. The Variety Night from Animation Team we enjoyed.. had a giggle. Greek dancers were good.. other acts were ok. Bingo and Karaoke.. hmmm.. we'll leave it there. Mini Disco.. good for families.. naff for rest of us couples but I can understand as resort caters for families. Never knew the words to Baby Shark (remember i mentioned the Shark theme⬆️).. I know them backwards now. Tho my therapist is working on this with me! A big negative to many including some acts from what I witnessed, is kids n toddlers ..when acts are on.. should not be on stage /on the stage edge. This is all

D'Andrea Mare. Beware!  This is a hotel that is declining. I would have given it 1 star but the food is excellent and the staff are incredibly hardworking and friendly (not the reception staff and stand in manager). The pool areas are a massive concern. 1 lifeguard for the whole resort! I was informed that they previously had 2 lifeguards, with one at the top of the slide. I am not sure why this has changed. The lifeguard cannot supervise all pools, it isn't his fault. A serious accident is inevitable! Another member of staff also informed me that they don't have enough staff and they have concerns about the management of the hotel. The staff were telling me this!!! The pool toilets are dirty and looked like they had been flooded. They were disgusting at times. After I complained, improvements were made. The pool is very dirty. When doing zumba and aqua gym, we were rubbing hairs off our hands after movements in the water. The swim up bar is a great idea; however, the ledge is always dirty. The management said the pool will get dirty by the end of the day due to people's suncream. I am not sure they understand what filtration is! When speaking to other families, they stated that a number of people had suffered ear infections. If you want a sunbed round the pool, be prepared to get up at 6am! After 6.30am they are all taken. There are signs up around the hotel, and on each table next to the sunbeds, that state that any towels down before 8.30am will be removed. This is not true - the lady on reception told me it happened daily. It didn't happen once! She said she would get it sorted. Nothing changed. Who wants to get up at 6.30am on holiday??? The food was excellent, and there is something for everyone. The breakfast is ideal if you like a fried breakfast! The manager of the restaurant was proactive and hard working; he runs a superb restaurant. He is excellent! The animation team tried their best. However, beach volleyball was cancelled as they didn’t have a ball and water polo was cancelled for days as one of the goals was broken. There is no animation team on a Monday: I haven't encountered this at an all inclusive hotel before. The evening entertainment is woeful; one night the leader of the animation team was dressed in a well used tiger costume making silly noises! My advice - go out and explore the local areas on a night. Rhodes Town and Patty's Cocktail Bar are a step above. He also led the longest game of bingo I have ever witnessed - they just drag it out! In addition, the animation team is like a merry-go-round of staff. Two left within days of us arriving. We were told by other guests that one of the animation team allegedly got involved in a fight with a guest. The animation team were also trying to get guests to go to after parties, including under 18s. We were also shocked to arrive back from Rhodes Town to find the leader of the animation team (Lesley) with no t-shirt on and making loud noises in the reception

Eten was lekker.

Having just returned from 10 days at your hotel I’d like to share my views. Having read some of the reviews again, I feel that quite a few of the observations made recently are unfair. Having said that, people are entitled to their opinion of which are completely subjective. As a group of 9, two families including 5 adults and 4 children we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. On arrival day, we arrived late and were treated with a warm welcome. We were also upgraded to suites. Food was also made available to us all. Our rooms were great, very clean and really comfy beds with an amazing sea view. We also had an amazing cleaner who providing clean towels every day (even on the non-clean day). The pool area was great. Our children loved the water slide and the lazy river. They also loved diving in the deep end and playing in the main pool. I have read the complaints that the pool was dirty with rubbish and hair in it. The rubbish would be the paper straw sleeves but that was occasional and only as a result of people leaving them on the pool bar where the water splashes over rather than handing them back to the bar staff to dispose of. If people cleaned up after themselves then that wouldn’t happen. As for hair, you would find the odd hair but what do you expect from pool being used by many guests taking part in the fun daily aqua aerobics and Zumba (especially when Leslie took the session). We all took part in the daily activities including our children. They are still singing the club dance song and doing the dance. The pool had loads of room and was warm. The only downsides to the pool area were the towel/sun bed wars! And the pool toilet. As for the sun bed situation, I agree with other comments. It’s not great having to set an alarm for 6:45 to get up and run down to put towels down to bag a few beds but if you don’t you won’t get any around the pool. As a group of 9 we were lucky if we would get 4 beds. However, towel wars are not specific to this hotel, it happens all over the world. Day 1 as an example, we had not got up early enough and by the time we got down at around 10 ish there were no beds. We put two chairs by the pool next to two sun beds which had the hotel towels draped over and were unoccupied. By 1pm they were still unoccupied so we decided to use them. At 4:30 the couple turned up scowling at us!! Some people do take the p*$$! In my opinion that is purse selfish behaviour and not the fault of the hotel. As for the toilet. The floors do get wet and dirty but I did see them being cleaned. I’m not sure what the hotel does to stop this problem as the floor gets wet from people using them whilst soaked having got out of the pool. And the dirt comes from people walking off the beach to use the toilet. For those not using the pool they could easily go inside the hotel to use the toilets which were spotless. Again it goes back to the guests. If people dried themselves first maybe there wouldn’t be such an issue. Hats off to George
