Highly recommend this gem of a resort. Travelled here as a solo traveller. It is conveniently connected to the airport - just 20 minutes on the local bus at a cost of €2 followed by 3-4 minute walk. The apartments are spacious with smart TV and more than adequate self catering facilities including fridge with freezer, hot plate, coffee machine, cutlery, plates, glasses etc... The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming and really do whatever it takes to make guests happy. There is a lovely pool area with pool side bar offering a great choice of local and international dishes at very good prices and very tasty! The beach is less than a ten minute walk away and within 2-3 minutes walk there is supermarket, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and everything you could need.

Not much to report (...), I was unable to honor my reservation, I notified the hotel and TRIP customer service more than 24 hours in advance, I would like to be reimbursed.
Kind regards.

The hotel was very clean and maintained to a high standard. Shame about the grumpy receptionist who was happy to ignore us There was charging for WiFi, air con, pool mattresses, kettles, safe and printing Please ensure you have plenty of extra money with you to pay for basic needs

Very Good

Me and my boyfriend have just spend a week at Ilyssion hotel, and we really loved it. The staff is kind and present, and the freddo cappuccino is good. If you want to spend a day at the pool and lay on a madras on the sunbed, you have to pay 1,50€ for the day or 10€ for the whole week You may also know that you have to pay hotel-tax, we payed 10,50€ for a week. We lived in room 504 and it was very nice, we had view over the garden.

This hotel is completely mud advertised by LOVE HOLIDAYS . It’s not anywhere near any harbour and at least a 1/2 hour walk from the pefkos town . The hotel is that bad that we booked out after 1 day having spent £1670 for our 11 night stay . The room WE had was an absolute disgrace and more like a prison than a family room .. The dining hall is like an oven no air conditioning at all and you have to stand on the stairs to wait upto 1/2 an hour to get in as they have to many guests to accommodate the dining capacity and the food is not the best . . No means of getting a drink until 07.30 as no shops open and the nearest shop is 20 minute walk , no tea or coffee facilities in room or around hotel and no way of getting any refreshments at all . Toilets don’t flush , shower is more like a hose pipe . It’s 2 star not 3 star as love holidays advertised it as . Staying here just for 1 day I was told by love holidays that it’s TUFF luck !!!! . They blocked me from emailing them and ringing and I had to book me and my wife and my daughter into another hotel . DONT STAY HERE DONT BOOK WITH LOVE HOLIDAYS .

Nice place and relaxing atmosphere. But the real game changer comes from from especially Dimitris that gave the best service we ever had on a vacation. We are coming back already in august and a big part of that is because of him. Besides that the rooms are clean. We were in the new modern rooms.

We went as a couple and stayed in a superior studio. The room had twin beds pushed together to make a double. It has a long couch-like seat at the bottom of the bed, with walking space between so you could go out to the balcony. The balcony had a table with 2 chairs. Inside also had a table with 2 chairs. A dressing table with a chair and wall mirror above. A double wardrobe with a safe inside that you can hire. A kitchen area with a fridge inside had a small freezer compartment, pans, cups, glasses, cutlery and plates for both of us, a coffee machine, a two-ring electric hob, and a sink. Towels were provided and the shower was always hot. We had a room on the ground floor with a view of the orange groves. The room was cleaned daily by a friendly bunch of ladies. Lovely pool area with lots of sun loungers and a bar serving food and drinks all day. They also have a spitroast BBQ 2 nights a week and offer guest options of B&B, Breakfast and dinner, or room only. The staff and owners were always very friendly and ready to help. Would definitely stay here again. Only a short work to the main street with lots of bars and restaurants and shops. The pebbled beach was also a short walk from the apartments. We did not go on the beach as had pebbles, but there are lots of sandy beaches to visit some busy and some very private. Just 2 mins from the apartments there is plenty of car/quad/bike rentals, taxis, or bus routes, so easy to explore the island. Only 10 mins drive from the airport. We got a taxi straight outside the airport, and the owner of the apartments phoned us for a taxi back to the airport.

The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

An excellent choice for a family hotel. We wanted a pool because we were travelling with other families and wanted a place to congregate after the beach. This pool was clean and not packed with the unwashed masses. It was a great place to relax, and had a chill vibe. No mayhem. The restaurant services the pool and you can get a really great mojito or fresh fruit smoothie. Dimitri the waiter is a pro. The food is REALLY good, all homemade, very authentic. We ate here a couple of times because it was so good, and easy! This hotel is NOT close to a nice beach, so rent a car and visit the southeast side of the island during the day for good beaches. But there is plenty of nice evening walking available. There is also a great fourno close by for breakfast if you want something different. But we liked the hotel breakfast too. They have a kids area, which was well used by our kids. They have little ice creams always available. The owners are proud and friendly. NOTE: lots of things cost extra here. Ac and room safe are two notables. But by no means should this dissuade you from trying this hotel.

It's a Calm and friendly place 5-600 meters from a busy road. If you buy food and breakfast from the hotel it's almost the same every Day. Except from main meal where you choose from a Meny. There is a tiny kitchen in every apartment, but it is not very good equipped. The housemaids are quite noisy in the morning, and don't expect to sleep long. Between 8-9 they are there. It would be nice if one could put out a "do not disturb" sign, but it's not there. But anyway you get what you pay for here.

After waiting three long years we were so looking forward to our family holiday, once we arrived we we're told to have air conditioning it would be the pricey sum of €15 per day per unit! I know things have gone up but wow! Also as stated the WiFi is not free some were lucky to get a code for free but not everyone the other thing is that it's one code per device, we booked our holiday with love holidays and booked a one bed apartment that slept four as we don't like our very young daughter having to sleep in the kitchen with the door, as we opened the apartment there was only one bed in the kitchen we did request to be moved but were told they couldn't, apartments are very sparsely equipped ( no kettle, no toaster) we think this is to encourage the all exclusive option. they are nice though if a little small, beds are comfortable, pool area is nice and kept clean with a very relaxed atmosphere in the day, unfortunately the sun loungers are splitting and pealing and you are charged for mattresses €1 per day or €11 per fortnight. As for the resort itself we we're shocked weather it is the aftermath of covid I don't know but there we're so many shops and restaurants shut down, lots of buildings needed a lot of TLC and there was so much litter left all over it was very sad. Rhodes Town is beautiful and worth a few days out, we also went to butterfly valley and really enjoyed that too. We wount be righting Rhodes off altogether we may try the other side of the island someday.

This hotel could have been amazing. It is situated in the perfect location, Our room faced the beach, and on 1st glance we thought we hit the jackpot. Until we hit the restaurant, considering we came to Greece, the only time we ate Greek food was when we went out to eat, which was pretty much everyday. Breakfast was continental, but also tried & failed, on everything else. The bacon wasn't bacon, if you got the top layer it had a little colour to it, wSnt so bad, but if you was left with the bottom, it was swimming in fatty water. The egg was more like a sponge, & who eats kidney beans, cauliflower & pickled cabbage for breakfast?? There was no toaster for bread, & the jam was placed in large glass bowls uncovered and re used. A The milk for cereal was powdered, and also left without refrigeration. Every night it was Chicken, Pork, & fish pieces. Pasta that had a crunch to it with every meal, not once in a week did we see any Greek salad, or any feta cheese. No selection of edible food available Although they had lemon & lime tree's growing in there grounds, not once did we see any in drinks, or as a garnish All inclusive is ment to start at 11am, but you could only get soft drinks or coffee till 12pm. No snacks offered in between meals, no ice cream, slush puppies was only given to children. Bar closed between 15.34/16.45pm tea & coffee only available Cleaning was horrendous, 2 male cleaners that would enter your room at 6.30/7pm just as your getting dressed for dinner. Two lady's we met had there room broken into. There suitcase lock was cut an all jewelry taken. No doors where broken into or left open, no windows were unlocked, but when reported to the owners, the lady's were told, its OK, your insurance will cover it. The beach was lovely until you entered the sea. I was stung twice by sea urchins that live on all the rocks around the hotel. You couldn't miss them. No safety signs where up to warn young children that were Snorkeling off the rocks. Beautifully situated hotel, just very poorly run. The staff who worked there, was OK. Not very helpful or friendly except one young lad who worked his legs off Alex was the man.
