So me and my brother flew in from England and stayed the week here, I booked before I looked at reviews then when I saw them i obviously panicked and thought it was gonna be a sh*T show, thankfully it was way better than expected. Firstly the location is great, 10 min walk from old town and the bus station where it costs €5 to go to lindos etc, sea a minute away, plenty of shops and restaurants around. The staff are very friendly and no extra fees were pushed on us, the room was clean, sure a bit of peeled paint was on the walls (not shocked due to humidity of Rhodes) but it was clean and nice. The room was cleaned 4 times in our 7 night stay and we enjoyed our visit, will definitely be staying again. I think some people pay for 2* and expect 5* lmao. For a 2* hotel it was way better than expected.

The hotel is well-located, just about 5 minutes from the beach (northeast side of the island). The rooms are a bit outdated and the bathroom is small, but they are adequate for a vacation. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job, cleaning the room daily as if it were the first time we were entering. The reception staff is friendly, though we had issues with our room key card, which failed to work 5 times over 8 days. The main issue was with the woman who checks room numbers at breakfast; she was very unkind and did not allow us to take two sandwiches from breakfast, despite us needing food for a day at remote beaches where we couldn't buy any. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Rhodes, a city with a 2400 year history, the place that gave birth to legends and hosted significant personalities of politics, the arts and culture, with a beauty that enthralled its conquerors through the centuries, hosts the welcoming Sheraton Rhodes Resort. Our boutique hotel and resort in Rhodes is cocooned in the beauty of its attractive lush gardens with the blue expanse of the pristine waters in front of its private beach; it is ideally situated in a key spot in Ixia, just 4 kilometres from the famous Medieval Town of Rhodes, the best preserved Medieval City in the world and an UNESCO World Heritage Monument. Our resort on Rhodes is ideal for families and services the very things that Rhodes offers: natural beauty, unique architecture, a variety of entertainment options, modern infrastructure and traditional hospitality.

GGuest User 2023.07.09
We stayed in the Sheraton Rhodes in the first week of July (2 adults 2 kids), last minute booking through Voyage Prive (booked Wednesday, flew Saturday). I found all the reviews here helpful in deciding to choose this hotel; here are our own experiences. Overall very happy with the hotel, facilities and service. Hotel rooms - we had guessed the hotel was built in the 70s/80s as the rooms and building itself are quite bland (actually built in 1993). We had Deluxe Sea View interconnecting rooms on 10th floor which suited us perfectly. View is fantastic - you can watch the sun set over the Turkish mountains on the far side. It was €4200 for the week for 2 Deluxe sea view rooms with ‘full board plus’. The minibar only had water and the waters were not replenished at all during the week. This seems almost a regular thing now with even top end hotels and in any case water bottles are 60 cent in the 1st floor minimarket. The king size beds are very nice. The hotel itself is not 5-star equivalent by European major city standards but nor are you paying anywhere near European 5-star prices for your stay. We found the hotel good value for the money. The public interior areas are clean and well-thought out. The lobby and the atrium around Knights bar is lovely. They have a baby grand piano open to anybody to play which is a really nice touch and adds a lot of character to the place. You’ll find kids and grown ups alike playing. There’s a nice mix of many different nationalities with the guests. Pools: 3 outdoor pools, with plenty of sun-loungers and parasols to go around throughout the day. The pool on 6th floor is very quiet and amazingly only ever had 3 or 4 people in it, with loads of space around it; the restrooms and showers here are even marble-tiled. Restaurants: the Castellano restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffet is very good and the staff there are excellent. There is a good mix of fruit / salads / hot food / cereals / breads. We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for a table outside. Non-dairy milks are still clearly not a thing for most people as sometimes these had bits in them, stick to soy milk rather than oat / almond! Themed nights meant sushi, Mediterranean options etc. as well as the usual main buffet selections. Full board +: we had 3 meals plus drinks included for the week which was okay value (about €900 for full board and €200 for drinks). Sheraton could organise this better. You get a paper card with your meal plan written on it which you must show staff every time you sit down for a meal, until they get to know you. Why they don’t just record your meal plan with your room number in the system I don’t know. With so many staff involved in serving drinks / issuing the bills etc, mistakes can happen the odd time. The extra for ‘drinks’ is about the price you would pay anyway, because as we found out on the first day, only one drink (juice, beer or house wine) is included per person. We usually have a lot more than one

Fantastic hotel. Would stay here again without any hesitation. The all inclusive food was superb and the best we have ever had (including restaurants) the room with private pool was brilliant, spacious and light. Well stocked mini bar!! My only slight observation would be that some of the hotel needed a bit of minor cosmetic attention (cracks in glass etc) and room housekeeping (sometimes hair and fluff left on floor) but this did not detract from the quality of the overall stay. There were quite a few children around and other reviews suggest plenty for kids to do, however we didn’t take our children on this short stay but believe they may have been slightly bored if they had come along - besides a small pool / slide and play area there did not seem a lot for children. Please keep in mind we were not specifically looking as we were child free so this is not a criticism . Booking of restaurants is essential - download the mitsis app which was a godsend! It features all restaurant menus and concierge so you can add extras. . Super impressed with the hotel!

Nice and clean hotel. Beach is not the best, but definitely a plus to have one. Breakfast is great Asked a room service not to clean my room, but they did. As a result I couldn’t find my night guard.. they probably thought it was trash or something. That really disappointed me. But all in all we had a pleasant stay

From the moment we arrived and walked into the elegant lobby, we felt immediately at home and relaxed, the feeling you immediately get when you know you are going to have a fantastic holiday. Everything about the hotel is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, demonstrated by the fact that talking to some of the bar and pool staff, ‘customer comes first’ is clearly the primary consideration here. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout, absolutely spotless. Everything has been well thought through, plenty of space between sunbeds, no early get up needed for a Sunbed which are available all day long, numerous bars and places to eat during the day which means you don’t get due up with the main restaurant. Al has served us impeccably all week serving us drinks around the pool, as soon as we arrive each morning we are immediately given bottled water and waited on all day long with whatever drinks we wanted, he must walk miles each day and his service has been wonderful. The gym is of good standard, highly equipped which is rare in other hotels. We had Cretan massage and pedicure, both were excellent. Food choices and drinks are extremely good, there is nothing you would go without. All in all, we have loved staying here, it’s our 1st visit to Rhodes, we have been to many Greek islands, but we have loved it here and when we come back we will 100% book here again or another H Hotels location for sure. Unbelievably it’s already our last full day and desperately don’t want to leave . Thank you Maya Exclusive for a fabulous week. PS, please be nice to the cats !!!

JJezza for lifeI recently had the pleasure of staying at the 10GR Boutique Hotel & Wine Bar, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service at this hotel was top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and attentive. Their warmth and hospitality truly made me feel welcome. The facilities at the hotel were excellent as well. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the room's design. The common areas of the hotel were also lovely and had a charming ambiance. Now, let's talk about the food – it was a highlight of my stay. The breakfast offered at the 10GR Boutique Hotel & Wine Bar was simply exceptional. The variety of options and the quality of the dishes exceeded my expectations. Each morning, I eagerly looked forward to starting my day with the delicious spread they provided. It was evident that they put a lot of effort into creating a delightful breakfast experience for their guests. In summary, my experience at 10GR Boutique Hotel & Wine Bar was fantastic. The service was impeccable, the facilities were impressive, and the food was a real treat. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the area. It's a true gem, and I can't wait to return for another visit.

FFranciscoThe location is amazing, in a quiet corner of Vlycha beach, where it feels calmer and relaxing. It's also conveniently located at 10-min drive to Lindos town. The beach is just 3 mins away on foot. The hotel is very modern, has a new feel, very minimalistic which we like very much. This is an adult-only hotel which we prefer, so we really had more serene mood. Breakfast is fantastic, a lot of variety so we didn't get bored within the 5 days we were there. Dinner at one of the restaurants (Agistri) was great, the service was nice. The hotel also allowed us to check out late at 1pm (standard is 11am), which was nice because we booked a facial treatment at the spa at 1030am on day of check out because it was the only available one that morning. The shower was working perfectly, with a view of the pool and the sea. Our private pool was always clean and looks new. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and did proper clean up. Opportunities to improve on: 1. The butler was not friendly at all, which is disappointing as he was the first person to greet guests at the lobby. We arrived at the front with our rental car, and he didn't even greet. He was quite aggressive when we asked where to park the car, and he simply pointed wherever vacant spot on the street we see. He was also responsible to walking us to our room with the luggage upon check in, and that was a few minutes of awkwardness too. 2. The check-in was a bit clumsy. Although the reception lady was really nice, he assisted us to check in via the hotel app (which we first had to download). That took some time when it was possible to simply check us in the normal way. I understand that the hotel wants to push the app to guests, but perhaps best to check in the normal way first THEN ask us to download the app afterwards. This way, it doesn't feel like: if we don't download the app, we cannot check in. Because in the end, we find the app helpful. We were in Lindos town one afternoon, and reserved our massage and dinner at the hotel via the app while there. 3. The room phone line did not function the whole time we were there. We reported it on day one, nothing happened. We had some questions that the app couldn't answer, and we always have to go to the reception to ask little questions, like how much the bottle of wine in the room costs, or if it's possible to do late check out. 4. One one night, we hang out at the pool bar and there was only one service staff. We had to wait for about half an hour to get our drinks, and he only passed by once to say it's coming though we can see the bar and no one is preparing anything. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and the value for money is worth it. We will come back again and recommend.

GGuest UserThis is a very good hotel, the location is brilliant, 1 minute walk away from the beach. The Old Town where the main attractions are is 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive away. There is parking right out the front free of charge, it can be tricky to find a space, I imagine in the summer it would be difficult but May was fine, I was able to park every day. The breakfast was fine as well but very busy with not many tables left over. There was also a good choice. The rooms were clean, although I could not find any controls for the air conditioning so it did get quite stuffy. The air con comes on very briefly when the balcony door is closed and then goes off again after a minute. There were also quite a few small bugs around the balcony door and a few in the bathroom but this may just be because it was very hot in there. All in all though, a great hotel

GGuest UserYes, the personnel is kind and helpful, the breakfast is not qualitatively great but they seem to struggle to diversify it, the room service is great, they regularly change everything, but.. You cannot plan your hotel with the washbasin inside the sleeping rooms because you projected the so called bathrooms to measure two square meters and you wanted the whole place to match 10-15 square meters in order the proprietor to earn double than normal. These are rooms for cats and dogs, not for humans. Unfortunately there is nothing to improve regarding this issue. Maybe if you break the wall between two rooms and make a normal one.. Three stars due to the good personnel and service only.

Just come to the end of our stay at the Lindian village beach resort and I have to say I am a little disappointed. The hotel itself looks lovely. We arrived late and there were fruit and sandwiches laid out for us in our room, which was a nice touch. The room looked lovely and appeared clean, the bed was comfortable and generally it was very quiet. The pool area was clean and comfortable and they had a band playing one day we were here which was great. Staff are friendly and attentive and a credit to the company. We also got a complimentary room upgrade which again was a nice touch. However, our room had a really awful smell to it which we smelt on the first full day. It smelt like sewage. We complained to reception who said they would send maintenance. We returned later and it was still there so we went back to reception who said they would send somebody. 2 hours later nobody had come so we went again and were told maintenance had told them there wasn’t a problem, even though nobody had been to our room. They told us it was coming from outside and they couldn’t do anything. We explained outside didn’t smell, just inside and water was coming up from the drain next to our toilet, saturating the bathroom floor, but they insisted there was no problem. We went back a fourth time the next day to be told there was nothing that could be done and it was coming from outside. Considering nobody came to the room when we were in and outside didn’t smell and we had drain water on our bathroom floor, we just didn’t buy this but unfortunately just had to accept it and tried to spend as little time as possible in the room, disappointing when these aren’t cheap rooms. The location is in the middle of nowhere and a car is necessary, an unfortunate accident meant we couldn’t hire one last minute and we felt very isolated. Food is poor, breakfast service is particularly bad, you’ll have finished your food by the time your coffee comes. Onsite restaurants are pricey and in our opinion, not that good. Booking in advance is recommended as on the day they tend to only come up late, however when we arrived, there was never usually more than 4 other tables in the restaurants. Gym is aesthetically pleasing but very limited equipment and poorly air conditioned. Overall wouldn’t stay here again, we didn’t have a terrible time but there are definitely better hotels out there closer to lindos. I would only recommend here if you don’t mind staying on the resort and only eating their food.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

Travelled in late June. Hotel was full but not all the amenities were open, the bar over the pool, the inside bar/restaurant was only offering breakfast. The pool was lovely but the step access is not mobility impaired friendly and did cause me problems. Plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas available. Grounds clean and tidy, though towards the end of the week some of the customers could not be bothered to use the bins supplied which was frustrating. Rooms are basic but we're clean and functional. Attempting self catering would be challenging as extremely limited kitchen equipment was available. I forgot to take plugs for the sink a trick I remember previously! Rooms were serviced daily to a good standard. Gardens were lovely, leading to the on site taverna - food was brilliant and a great variety to suit all needs, good value too. No entertainment within hotel, but this suited our needs but may be an issue for others. We knew that we were close to the airport (10 minute transfer), a deliberate choice, be aware you are directly under the landing flight path - didn't bother us but I suspect others might complain

This was our 6th time to the hotel but the 1st with our disabled child (willow) and under new management. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but ours was clean and the bed comfortable and changed everyday. The cats didn’t bother us and we fed them and gave them water everyday. I suppose if you don’t like cats it could be a problem. The Pool area was clean and there was always sunbeds. Could do with some better music. The lad at the pool bar was rude and sat on his phone most of the time on the other side of the bar. If it was my business he would be gone. The other staff were amazing! Sophia, Mike George were especially lovely and the cleaners were always friendly. A few negatives. The toilets were smelly, dirty and didn’t have no hand gel/soap. One point the men’s was so bad they closed them. The food!!! The food was not labelled and from an allergy point of view, it’s a disaster waiting to happen. The breakfast was ok. When we went to eat in the afternoon the spaghetti bolognaise made our daughter sick so didn’t eat there in the afternoons/evenings after that. The bar area was nice in the evenings but could really do with some entertainment a few nights of the week. Karaoke, Greek night something like that. We will hopefully be returning soon.

We arrived late it looked very nice ,rooms basic no water in the fridge no kettle etc brought my own, beds in the living area were stone with a matress on my granddaughter didn't complain only place for clothes was the wardrobe in my bedroom . Food in the restaurant was good always found something to eat but the pool snack area was relatively the same every day but kids seem to like it . The bars were not well staffed and with three adults you could still only get 2 alcoholic drinks at a time which was not good after a few days they let us have more ! . The a la carte bar was nice and comfortable but it was €6 a pint and my granddaughter loved the pizza there and the barman was very pleasant. The kids disco was enjoyable for my 6 year old granddaughter because she made some lovely friends there but that is where the evening entertainment was which was supposedly abysmal (we never went because it was stinky and not very comfortable on plastic chairs) luckily we made friends with people and just sat outside the hotel bar . Outside the hotel is nothing really but we went to the rainbow bar to watch the football and beautiful sunsets! and that is a really nice place very friendly staff . Animation team try their best the kids club my 6 year old granddaughter went to did their best took them to the aquapark one day and she drew pictures the rest of the time , they did things round the pool aqua aerobics and water polo nearly every day . To be honest I still had a really good time with my family there but they do need more staff , I know this day and age there are cutbacks everywhere but some people have to save for a long time for a family holiday and I think the management need to realise that and make sure people have a great time . The staff I encountered were all very nice but I think they need more so that they enjoy working .

We have just returned from a 10 night stay, all inclusive. We have been to Pefkos before self catering and thoroughly enjoyed all the wonderful restaurants, however the Pefkos Breeze was a really price so decided to go AI. I was very apprehensive, not a lot of reviews since it was reburbished & changed it's name.. We arrived & found the Reception welcoming & modern very much like the rooms. We had a teenager with us, the 3rd bed was a camp bed bit small but we managed. Room & bathroom overall clean with kettle, really good fridge & hairdryer. Towels changed every other day & plenty loo rolll. Our balcony was a bit small, but we did not use it apart from drying the towels. There was no lift to our room on the 3rd floor, so something to consider if you have mobility issues. In with the AI are 3 meals, breakfast is hot & cold buffet, bacon, beans, mushroom with a gentleman preparing omlettes on request. At lunch they have a huge outdoor kitchen with Bbq & pizza oven. Every lunch time gyros, pizza, chips and a range of salads. Evening there is always meat, fish, pasta, & veg. At meal times there is ice cream, watermelon & cakes. I never struggled with the food, always found something. We only ate out once. This AI does not come with snacks or food in between the 3 meals which I did not find a problem. Drinks are help yourself in the restaurant, tea, coffee, wine, beer & soft drinks. There is an outside bar open from 10am, again soft drinks, tea, coffee, beer, spirits and water. The staff will make cocktails & we enjoyed tequila sunrises amongst others. Bar shuts 11pm prompt. 2 pools, we enjoyed the pool by the bar and sunbeds available all day, no need to put your towels out early!!! Air con is fantastic so we slept well & it's free of charge. There is a shop on site & you are only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Pefkos. After being very apprehensive following a few comments on social media we were pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely relaxing holiday.
