Comfortable rooms, good bar and restaurant and underground parking make this an ideal stop-over. Stayed here on the way to Denmark and on the return journey to the UK. The breakfast offering is absolutely superb and full marks to the staff who quickly clear tables and replenish the buffet. An extra coffee machine wouldn’t go amiss. It can be a long wait at busy periods. Great fan of the Accor brand.

This house of the B&B chain is convinced by its location to reach well with the train right at the main station, but also with the car to reach well and there is, where available free parking directly at the house! The rooms are small, but good for 1-2 nights equipped and, that must be mentioned, the bathroom is well equipped and has a quite large shower, everything you need, including a oven! Very good the pricing! We have not used breakfast and cannot make any information about it. Whatever is convinced is the offered ”Online Check-in” procedure. This is how you save a lot of time and can instantly get the room!

Ein stark in die Jahre gekommenes Haus, in dem Schönheitsreparaturen den wirklichen Sanierungsbedarf mühsam zu überdecken versuchen. Schimmel an der bereits überstrichenen Decke im Bad sowie in den Fugen, weil die Lüftung nicht funktioniert. Die Duschkabine ist schmutzig und die Ecken voller Schwarzschimmel. Der Teppichboden (Treppe, Flur, Zimmer) ist abgewetzt und schadhaft. Im Zimmer noch Krümel vom vorigen Gast auf dem Boden und auch in der Toilette befanden sich noch Spuren des vorigen Gastes. Positiv ist, dass im Erdgeschoss, im Durchgang, auf einem Schrank einige Utensilien bereit gehalten werden, um sich ein Heißgetränk zubereiten zu können.

I had a great stay in that historic building right next to the market and city center. Breakfast buffet had a good selection and better quality than some budget hotels.

Ondanks wij bij de boeking “ Rustige kamer” hadden opgegeven, kregen we een kamer op de 1e verdieping aan de straatkant. De kamer was netjes en ge-restyled, zo ook de badkamer, maar heeft geen airco en ook een ventilator ontbreekt. Gelukkig bevond de kamer zich op de Noordzijde en konden voor het slapen gaan het raam openen om op een warme dagen die wij hadden, geheel open zetten, maar om te slapen moesten ze wel dicht ivm het vele verkeer wat er langs komt. Helaas ontbreekt er een koelkastje om iets gekoeld op de warme kamer te bewaren. Het ontbijt buffet is redelijk goed, mede door de vers geperste sinaasappels. Het diner was op de eerste in buffetvorm en start officieel om 18:00u. Echter om die tijd was de eetzaal al behoorlijk gevuld, maar niet met eten. Om ca. 18:15 kreeg iedereen eerst soep ( of je wilde of niet) en pas toen iedereen die op had, werd het buffet gevuld en geopend. Men kon kiezen tussen schnitzel of een beenhammetje ( die lekker smaakte en mals was) en div. bijlagen. Het dessert liet even op zich wachten, maar die avond lekker gegeten. De 2 e avond was een ramp. Geen buffet, maar keuze tussen een hamburger of vis . Omdat wij trek hadden waren we als een van de eersten al om 18:05 aanwezig . Om eindelijk 18:25u kregen wij de soep, maar niet als eersten, sommigen hadden deze al op. De hoofdmaaltijd liet helemaal op zich wachten en zelfs degenen die later binnen waren gekomen kregen veel eerder eten en waren vaak al klaar terwijl anderen , die tegelijk met ons aan tafel waren gegaan! Toen wij zagen dat bijna iedereen al at of had gegeten, ben ik naar een van de restaurantmedewerkers gegaan om mijn beklag te doen. Eindelijk om 19:30u ( dus anderhalf uur nadat we aan tafel aanschoven) kwam ons eten. Inmiddels was onze honger voorbij en dat was maar goed ook, want de hamburger kreeg mijn vrouw niet eens gesneden….zo taai als een schoenzool , die van mij was niet anders, maar heb iets meer kracht om er doorheen te zagen. Maar na een halve burger verging mij te trek, zelfs in de slechtste snackbar niet eerder zo slecht gegeten en mede doordat de temperatuur in de niet gekoelde eetzaal, snel naar buiten gevlucht……. Een Gasthof zonder sterren presteert in het algemeen (veel) beter dan dit hotel

Supporting Dort for many years, I finally came to the scene to see it once. The hotel is far from the city but very close to the airport. The environment is very good. The subway is very convenient and the price is acceptable.

I was to the light week Sauerland, #LWS2022 from 06.03. to 12.03.2022 at Hotel Antonius Hütte. I stayed two days longer than planned because I felt so at home. From 10.03. I also came a loved friend who has got a break in the Sauerland. We will both come back! The team of owner Britta Spiekermann is committed, flexible, helpful, friendly and with great pleasure in the matter. I had a lot of extra wishes, including a large table to work in my room. All not a problem !!! My dear friend Sabine came with her medium-sized dog Tilla, which was also awaited as a guest of honor, including stretch units. Shortly to the culinary: First-class breakfast, cafe is available from 06.00 clock, all food comes from the region. The kitchen works thinly and avoids food residues. The philosophy of the meat is ”from nose to tail”, there are also delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. I eat every evening at the hotel and it was exceptionally delicious. As digestive you must try the fruits of the spray! Long speech of short sense: I am enthusiastic and can recommend the hotel Antonius Hütte warmestly as a business traveler and a relentless holidaymaker.

A very nice hotel, staff is kind of friendly and they can also be English. The room is pretty and also funny in order! The bed is really nice and there's enough to do in Dortmund. You're on a busy road, but they've not heard anything about the cars and trains! In short, a top hotel and certainly recommend.
