Rib Mountain Inn

I was in town for business and decided to make it a small get away with my husband. We arrived at the property and at check in saw a note on the counter stating the hot tub was out of service. One thing we enjoy when traveling is the hot tub. The front desk agent, Priscilla, and Manager Barbara were very apologetic. Barbara showed us what the issues with the hot tub were. We completely understood. We got to the room and started to unpack and get ready to head out to dinner. We turned on the TV and there was no signal. Priscilla came up to the room and rebooted the box and tried several things to get the TV back working. The TV/Cable provider was out the day before upgrading some lines in the area, so all the TV's in all the rooms were not working. I booked through a third party (non-refundable). My husband went to the front desk and spoke with Barbara and she was so kind to allow us to cancel and get a refund through the third party. We moved to a different hotel in the area for this stay, but we will definitely be back to Rib Mountain Inn. The property is such a beautiful property that really reflects North Central Wisconsin. With all the issues that happened to be the perfect storm, Barbara and Priscilla maintained the highest level of customer service I have experienced. They could had said too bad, but they did not. Because of their dedication and professionalism, we will be back, and we will promote others to stay there. There is a phrase in the Customer Service industry "It is not our fault, but it is our problem". None of the issues we experienced were of the fault of the property, but they took it on themselves to remain positive, make it their problem and make us satisfied customers. We as consumers are so quick to complain, but never take the time to acknowledge great service. I encourage everyone to say thank you to those that provide and go above and beyond with great service and interactions. It is not always the transaction, but the interaction that wins. Great property right next to mountain

Wonderful stay

EVERYTHING was great! The staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and cozy, the sauna and large outdoor hot tub were a huge hit, and the breakfast area/lobby was big enough for our large group to enjoy a perfect weekend together! We will definitely be back any time we are in the area!

A perfectly convenient location to access Granite Peak Mountain. Unexpectedly great breakfast and kind, considerate staff! We will be back!

Outdoor hot tub was just what our exhausted bodies needed after a day of skiing at Granite Peak. This property is the perfect location for a ski trip to Wausau, WI. Barbara and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Updated and modern, roomy, appealing and staff was very helpful. Kitchen suite was great.

Warm, quiet, beautiful view

I have been staying at the Rib Mountain Inn for over 4 years now when I go skiing during the winter. The staff is always terrific and the lobby and rooms are always fresh and clean.
