This is my first to stay here. Overall are excellant. Tje hotel provide shuttle bus to go and return the airport. If you are arrived at mid-night, please keep the taxi recipt (around CAD25), you can get a claim CAD20 from the hotel.

(My name is anonymized to protect my identity for this review) This review was delayed due to an ongoing police investigation about our stay here in the Versante Hotel. My wife and I booked our stay at the Versante hotel, originally from Monday, August 29th until Saturday, August 3rd. We booked the penthouse suite on the 14th floor and loved it so much that we cancelled our reservations at the Fairmont hotel, just so we can extend our stay before we go to the airport for our family trip on the 6th. What we thought was going to be one of the most relaxing stays through our hotel experience quickly turned into a nightmare at the Versante hotel. It was a betrayal of trust from the Versante hotel staff and what Versante portrayed their company’s values to be. I would like to mention there were a few notable staff members that were exceptional and compassionate, and it’s a shame that this experience would reflect poorly on the hard working individuals who really tried to make our stay memorable. What had occurred in your hotel with the staff members that you hired to take care of your guests was unbelievably heartbreaking and I do not wish for anyone to go through what my wife and I had to witness.  On Tuesday, August 30th we booked for a hot stone massage at Spa Versante and confirmed our booking for a shuttle the next day at 3:45PM. Manager Yasin was the one who had confirmed our shuttle booking for the spa the next day at 3:45PM. On Wednesday, August 31st at 315PM we received a call from our hotel room (1404) from Nini, the front desk receptionist. Nini asked to confirm if we had booked a shuttle for 330PM. We then told her it was confirmed for 345PM. She said OK and we hung up. At 345PM my wife went downstairs to meet the shuttle that we had booked the day before for my wife’s spa appointment. There was no shuttle. My wife asked the Valet who was there and he asked her for her name and said it was not ticketed. He then took my wife to the receptionist who was working at the front, named Nini, and asked about the shuttle booking. My wife informed her about her appointment at the spa and shuttle booking, which should have made it obvious to Nini that the booking was for the Versante Spa further away. Nini then told her there was no shuttle that goes to the spa and it only goes to YVR. Ultimately, Nini said my wife wasn’t booked for a shuttle. When my wife told her we had received a phone call from her (at 315PM) to confirm our shuttle, Nini had denied making any calls to our room. Nini then told my wife there wasn’t a shuttle coming and pointed at the door and told her to walk. Nini did not provide any help or resolution, she had dismissed my wife’s needs as a guest and failed to provide her with adequate information for her confirmed bookings at Versante Spa. It was only two girls working, Nini and Monica at front desk. Upon speaking in person with Nini, my wife recognized her voice on the phone. She had denied ever calling my room to confir

Our stay started off really well. Front desk staff were very friendly and let us check in early. I went to have a shower before going to the concert we were in town for and found that the tub drain was plugged and the tub not draining. I had received a txt earlier ask how the room use and to text if we need anything. So I text that the tub was are draining. I did not get a response and left the room to go out. We thought we would come back the drain being unplugged but instead came back to nothing done. We went to the front desk to ask for a plunger to try and fix ourselves as it had been 7 hours and still no response. We tried to plug the drain but it did not help. When we returned the plunger the front desk person offered us another room but being in out pj’s and it after midnight we stayed in the room. They said maintenance would be back at 7am. We went to check out at 11, still no response to txt and no maintenance person to fix tub. The desk person apologized and offered us breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. We went to the restaurant but they would only give us bacon or sausage and eggs. Being vegan and vegetarian that was not going to work. The restaurant said they could not offer anything else. We went back to the front desk and the manager wouldn’t allow the front desk person to do anything else for unless we wanted McDonald’s. Looking forward to getting home tonight to shower.

My family of 5 stayed overnight in Sept, prior to another flight the following day. The hotel was welcoming and the room completely acceptable. The Bed was comfortable and there were not complaints for the children regarding the sofa bed or the rollaway, which was requested. The free shuttle from and to the airport takes weight off your shoulders. Great when you're new to a large city or you don't require a rental. Thos is our second time here in 6 years. Standard is unchanged. Staff friendly and as mentioned welcoming and totally acceptable. Thanks Team. Steve

On Sept 15, I attended the Pink Floyd Roger Waters concert downtown and stayed in my most favorite room, there jacuzzi loft suite for 2 very relaxing nights. The first night me and a buddy went to Moxies for a quick pasta dinner before heading to the concert. We used Uber to Roger's arena and back to the hotel at nights end, I was amazed how inexpensive both trips were from and back to the hotel, $25 each direction, can't beat that!!! The hotel is very centrally located to anywhere you need to go especially if using Uber or Lyft. The second Night my girlfriend joined me in the room and we did absolutely nothing except request a late checkout for the following checkout day, and we sat in the jacuzzi all afternoon and night while ordering take out from there on-site restaurant, Moxies. This room has everything you need and more, when I stay in this room, I try to make sure there is no reason to leave. For those who have not experienced there jacuzzi loft suite, it is highly recommended to put on your bucket list for your next staycation. Jake was my check in agent whom was very professional, outgoing, great at what he does, and I would definitely have him manage my reservation anytime from making the reservation all the way to checkout, great job Jake!! The front desk Staff was very approachable at all times and they all deserve recognition as you can tell by watching them that they work as a team. Another staycation in the books!! i enjoyed the hotel resort..Conveniently located in Richmond...Easily accessible to everything. Preferable to have a car. Sky train was avail , but we had our own vehicle. Resort fees includes the parking which is good compared to other hotels nearby that charges $50/night for parking. I definitely would recommend to stay here. Room sizes are large, good entertainment.

While the place was clean and nice, I was really disappointed with my stay because it's essentially just somebody's house that they are living in and you're just getting a room. Calling this a ”superior suite” is a real stretch. It's a regular sized bedroom (with a bathroom and a walk-in closet) so for the price (which was pretty expensive) it didn't feel worth it at all. Plus they add on a $60 cleaning fee that you have to pay in person in cash or e-transfer which is not convenient. Plus it's very far out of the way in the suburbs with little to see or do nearby. Overall I regret purchasing this.

This hotel is truly nice. The driver and I had a difficult time seeing where the hotel entrance was. We had to guess. Very engaging lobby, with a check in that went very smooth. There are plenty of amenities at this hotel. Good attached restaurant. The room was very large, very nice, and very comfortable. Very large bathroom, and nice shower. However. The glaring problem here are the thin walls. Every other guest I spoke to had the same complaint. I could annoyingly hear the people walking around above my room. The housekeeping staff could be heard cleaning several rooms away. The hotel guests could be heard walking around the halls and in their rooms. A small amount of noise is to be expected at hotels, but this is just poor design and cheap building. There was also a distinct smell of vomit throughout the hotel. I am not certain if this was the result of the farm land outside, or intoxicated guests. Probably both. If you are here to gamble and drink, you may not notice any of my issues. If you are hear to sleep and work the next day, you may share my concerns.

The man at the front desk who checked us in was very helpful in finding us a first-floor room instead of the second-floor room we'd been assigned. He was also very thorough in telling us about how to get to our room, about breakfast, etc. Breakfast was great! It was in a restaurant on the premises (but had to walk outside to get to it). There was a good variety of hot and cold food and they kept it well supplied. The hotel room was larger than most. There is nice large laundry room on the premises with inexpensive washer & dryer (ice machine also in that room). The beds were comfy, the shower was good, we had plenty of towels and toilet paper, everything was clean and in good repair, all the lights worked. The sink and counter were separate from the toilet & tub and there was a nice big counter. There was a power ***** next to the bed where I plugged in my phone charger. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby. We like the citrus fragrance of the supplied soaps and shampoo, etc. This was one of the best places we've stayed!

The location was perfect, and the room was quite spacious for the two of us, my teenager son and i, as we were in town for university campus visits. The beds were very comfortable, and the Starbucks in the lobby, and the mosaic restaurant served good food (for lunch). Parking was right down in the basement, and was very convenient. We parked the car there and walked around Robson avenue for shopping. Checkout was also very speedy and done online, without the need to line up.
