The Boulevard is a true gem. Roni and Mitch's hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail were overwhelmingly pleasant. My wife and I will book again when traveling to Richmond.

A beautiful building with free parking. Room, bed, welcome and hospitality exceptional and breakfast delicious. But…. there is no escaping the extremely noisy traffic outside that no amount of noise machine or earplugs could mask. With motorbikes and cars revving uncaringly outside until 3:30am it was impossible to sleep and relax. I know this is not the fault at all of the owners but it has to be taken into consideration before booking. Loved the hosts who couldn’t do more for us - from breakfast to directions, dinner reservation guidance, cheese and wine in the evening and really helpful all round.

I have been going to Richmond for several years and because of that I have stayed at several of the top named places leaving them feeling less than enamored. When I found The Boulevard Inn I was very hopeful given the website. What I found was everything I had hoped for. The Inn and guest rooms are very well appointed and the taste level is excellent! The wine and cheese hour doesn’t disappoint either (THE BEST PIMENTO CHEESE I HAVE EVER HAD ) The breakfast was perfect as well lots of excellent food. The staff made you feel as if you were a dear friend coming home for a visit. Plane and simple I can’t say enough good things about The Boulevard Inn. We will never stay anywhere else when we visit Richmond.

Just spent 3 lovely days here - beautiful B&B. Mitch and Ronie have renovated this wonderful old house and the accommodation provided is just lovely, they have thought of everything. Delicious breakfast each morning (love the Greek yoghurt and fresh berries), and wine and cheese/charcuterie each evening, 5-6pm. The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable, and we slept well. Thanks also to Geoffrey who was a lovely host every evening and providing tips for eating out and making bookings. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

There is no faulting the beauty of the building, the free parking, the warm welcome, the stunning decor, the tasty breakfast and cheese and wine afternoon social. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and some very special touches, and the whole place is spotless and high class. However, there is no getting away from the extremely loud traffic noise outside at night that no sound machine or ear plugs can mask!! The inconsiderate inhabitants who roared their engines and revved their throttles until gone 3:00am meant that we got very little sleep. I’m afraid I really could t recommend this location without considering this prior to booking.

Wonderful attention to details - from bath to decor really well done. Breakfast was delicious. And location perfect for a museum/dining evening in town. If you are not familiar with dining options in Richmond do get their suggestions. We stayed in the Boulevard room which when we next visit is where we will stay! The porch is a free room!

We were originally set to enjoy a few days in Charleston, but Hurricane Debby changed that. We pivoted to Richmond and had an incredible time -- with an absolutely awesome experience at The Boulevard Inn. Mitch and Roni were great hosts, and the breakfast prepared each morning by Mitch was excellent! Afternoon happy hour hosted by Jeremy was also excellent. Food and beverage superb during the stay. The Inn is spotless and as great as the pictures show, if not even nicer! Centrally located to everything. When Richmond is right for you, ensure the quality of your trip by booking here. You won't regret it.

I wish we had 6 stars for this Inn. Meticulously restored 1900 mansion. Glorious public spaces. Lovely guest rooms with top of the line finishes. Delicious cooked breakfast, nightly happy hour. Safe off street parking. The staff treated us like family. We didn’t want to leave! Magnificent!!
