The location is good, but this place is definitely not a four star hotel. The staff is not very nice. The pool is has nice views, but it is small and often crowded. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Hotel muito bom. Café da manhã excelente com muitas opções a la carte e um horario de encerramento as 11h, o que eu acho legal pq da mais flexibilidade pro hospede. O cardápio da piscina é caro pelo o que entrega. A gastronomia do hotel não é a altura da hospedagem nem ao preço cobrado pelos pratos. Decoração bonita, quarto com cama, lençol e chuveiro muito bons!! O serviço é bom, mas um funcionário em especifico na parte da piscina ainda esta despreparado, extremamente voado, tive que pedir pra ele a mesma coisa por várias vezes pelo menos 2x. Todos os dias tem uma cortesia no quarto e abertura de cama. O serviço de praia funciona bem. Nos hospedamos no hotel em comemoração ao aniversário do meu marido, avisei no momento do check in, mas eles não preparam nada. Esse ponto achei negativo pelo nível da hospedagem. No mais não me hospedaria de novo pq pelo preço prefiro outros hoteis concorrentes.

The Emiliano hotel has a big reputation in Brazil; I knew it from São Paulo, so I stayed in Rio because of that. The hotel is very nice; it was designed by the architect Arthur Casas (whom I'm particularly a fan of), but the hotel operator definitely doesn't live up to the architect's name. The service is much inferior; it almost feels like a 4-star hotel. They have good food, but overall, it's poor service. I booked a relatively ‘cheap’ internal room; we had thought about staying in an Ocean view room, but luckily, we didn't because it cost twice as much. I wouldn't have felt good paying so much money for this hotel, really.
