overall hotel is average not 4 star quality. rooms very basic. the bfast was amazing.

I checked into the hotel and was very impressed at everything, the welcome, genuine friendliness from the front reception staff, but in particular one person was an absolute diamond! Mr Barbosa helped me with first aid and assistance getting to hospital after I was hit by a motorcycle whilst crossing the road. He went above and beyond for me, helping me to remove my heavily blood stained shirt and freshen up before hospital. He did everything possible to help me - it was an outstanding effort! Amazing ! A real hero!

Top 5 of "worst Hotel" Sowas ist mir nun doch noch nie passiert :) Ich hatte eine Junior Suit für eine Person gebucht und bin am Donnerstag alleine Angereist. Als ich am Abend darauf die für meine Freundin auf Personen Anzahl auf 2 aufstocken wollte, wurde mir dies sogar gegen bereitwillige Aufzahlung verweigert. Der sehr unfreundliche Herr der abends am Front Desk arbeitet meinte nur "wir sind ausgebucht, das ist heute nicht möglich". Ich machte Ihn darauf aufmerksam dass ich Ja ein Junior Suit habe und genug Platz ist, ich auch wie bereits erwähnt einen Aufpreis bezahle. Als ich bemerkte dass ich mit Ihm das Problem nicht regeln kann, verlangte ich nach dem Nightmanager (angehängte Bild) welcher unbeteiligt daneben stand und dann mit einem dreckigen Grinsen im Gesicht von der Seite sagte, "sorry we have rules!" Das gute an der Ganze Sache ist, das ich dann in das um die Ecke gelegene Porto Bay Hotel eingecheckt habe wo man dann doch noch als Gast geschätzt und so behandelt wird. Ebenfalls habe ich nach dem auf der Buchungsseite angepriesene Golfplatz gesucht, vergeblich! Ich kann dieses Hotel leider niemandem Weiterempfehlen. Preis / Leistung stimmt hier überhaupt nicht.

It doesn't look like a Windsor, the hotel is very old, the pool is in a puddle and there aren't enough sunbeds with umbrellas, but the breakfast and the staff are impeccable.

Service left something to be desired!!! THEY CHARGE THE DEPOSIT VALUE FOR YOU TO STAY AND THERE'S NOTHING SAYING ABOUT IT IN THE APPLICATION!!! DOOR LOCK WAS BROKEN, AND WE HAD TO STAY ALMOST 2 HOURS WAITING TO FIX IT! THEY COULD ALREADY HAVE CHANGED ROOMS TO AVOID THE DISORDERS!! THE CUSTOMERS CHARGE THE WIFI IF THE INTERNET IS OVER 100MB! NO PHONE SIGNAL ON THE THIRD FLOOR!!! A PLACE I WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN!!!

It is only a two-minute walk away from the most beautiful seaside in the world. The coastline is 4.5 kilometers long. The statue of Christ on Mount Cristo is clearly visible in the distance. The surrounding transportation and food are very convenient.

The hotel is very well located, on Av. Princesa Isabel, right after the tunnel, right where Leme beach ends and Copacabana beach begins. The service at reception was exceptional, friendly and helpful. Mr. Carlos, who checked me in, was helpful, offering us the possibility to get into the room earlier (1:00 pm, when the time would be 3:00 pm), and stored our bags at reception while we walked around the city waiting for the room to be released. The room I stayed in (a standard twin) was good, not too big, but not too tight either, two wide single beds, with new and clean sheets, but a mattress too soft for my taste (for one night, it wasn't a problem , but spending more nights sleeping on it would be complicated). Smart TV, but it couldn't connect to the internet, so it was limited to cable channels (good selection of movie and series channels). The bathroom is spacious, but the shower stall is tight and the water is not at a constant temperature, you have to keep adjusting it to warmer or colder. The whole room looked as if it was already in need of renovation, and the bathroom even more so, but everything was in good working order. The room I stayed in was a connecting room (end 15) and the noise from the neighbor when using the bathroom was quite loud, nothing that constantly bothered me, but it is something to watch out for; in another room, maybe it was smaller. We didn't use the leisure area on the roof, we just visited it. It's small, and the pool is pretty cramped, but the view is beautiful. We didn't get breakfast either, so I can't comment on the food. Anyway, for the amount I paid and to spend just one night, it was a good option, without luxuries. For a longer stay, perhaps a better room would do, or another hotel.

Regarding the location, cleanliness and service without any consideration to make. I just found the breakfast weak in relation to the amount charged.
