I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.

The hotel accommodation experience was good, but the charges for a local one-day tour that my friends and I signed up for at the hotel were much more expensive than those at other hotels. We had the same tour guide and the same car. Our trip was 5 hours including 5 attractions and no meals. The cost was BRL450, other tourists in the same car stay in another hotel, the cost is BRL430 one day including lunch

It was my first time to go to Rio on business, and I booked this hotel. Overall, the transportation location is very good, and the room conditions are also OK. I recommend it! Everyone should pay attention to safety when coming to Rio, and booking here can improve safety.

Excellent hotel! Located in the center of the Copacabana beach, on the first line. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant on the 30th floor! - but only for super deluxe rooms. I recommend booking rooms of this level or higher. Amazing view from the room! My recommendations

The hotel is quite beautiful, which means I am quite satisfied with it. Especially when there are performances in the evening, it feels lively and has a vacation-like atmosphere. According to the standards of Golden Diamond, I think it is still a bit not good enough. For example, the breakfast restaurant is simple in decoration. The hotel has a nice location right next to the beach. It's a little far from most of the sights, but it's a calmer neighborhood with plenty to see. The hotel, however, was a little disappointing considering the number of stars. It felt very bare. The rooms was small and had no decoration. The lobby area really just served as an area for people to sit and wait for tours. There was no comfortable seating. The pool is small and the rooftop area is pretty windy. The rooftop bar is again not particularly comfortable with lots of echo-y hard surfaces. Everyone was very nice, but it was distinctly lacking in comfort. The Italian restaurant has really good food and it's worth eating. However, beware that it is extremely air-conditioned. I don't know why hotels insist on blasting the AC when it is so hot outside. I had to take a sweater every time I went to breakfast and I heard multiple guests complaining about the temperature. They would even seat people in slightly warmer areas of the room.

Massive impressive lobby, but all the seats and armchairs need reupholstering or cleaning, very grubby to sit in. The pool is very small, and the facilities there are quite poor by other hotel in the area. No separate changing rooms or locker room. No showers after gym activities. The bedroom is large, a bit dated in style. No tea or coffee maker, no kettle, no complimentary water, for me, unacceptable in a 5*hotel. The bed is massive but the sheets don’t fit. So we spent twelve nights constantly re making the bed. Very poor sleep as a result. For god sake, make the beds smaller, or the sheets and blankets bigger. Overall we enjoyed our stay, despite these shortcomings. Concierge staff were the most helpful and friendly. Check in staff, not so much. Very cold and aloof.

I spent four nights at this hotel, in a very nice area of Rio. Great facilities: magnificent rooms (standard), excellent bed and linen, very nice swimming pool (heated) with gorgeous views, pleasant common area, etc. The management, however, is not so good. Nothing serious or terrible, but not what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. E.g.: I was supposed to receive a free big bottle of water in my room, as part of the arrangement for my group; I did not received it and I was told that I should pay for it if I wanted it; in addition, I was asked, when checking our, to pay for 2 bottles! (when I ordered just one). I complained and no charge was made finally but it gave me a poor impression about the level of care for the details one would expect in a hotel of this category. Moreover, in a place what you cannot drink water from the tap safely, the management should provide with courtesy drinking water for every guest, as is usual in most places. About the food: very good in the restaurant, reasonably priced (but obviously not cheap). However, the breakfast was disappointing: little variety and quality in the fruit (in a place such as Brazil!!!), slow service for the eggs or tapioca you ordered, and little variety of bread and pastry, as well as other deficiencies (quality of cheese, ham or salami, etc.). A special positive mention for the cleaning personnel: very efficient and nice, always respected the requests I made about timing. Bravo.
