Campanile NATURE - Clermont Ferrand Nord Riom

As with most hotels in France, they can be more functional than comfortable (in my experience). I have stayed at this particular Campanile a few times and also some of the neighbouring hotels also (Ibis & Ace). The rooms are quite new, a good size, the beds are comfortable and the air con is excellent. But the best part compared to other budget hotels in the vicinity is that it has a good restaurant and bar.

Room was very clean and well equipped. Bed comfortable. Staff at neighbouring hotel reception very helpful on checking in. Good parking facilities.

This must be the best Campanile on the planet! Following a major refurbishment in accordance with the latest Campanile generation design - a very clever use of space - separate toilet, modern washroom with basin and shower, large wall TV, coffee/tea-making facility, new window and entry door and tasteful access paths and shrubbery. A super result. Work was still in progress around the restaurant block, but we dined in the elegant Kyriad restaurant next door and learned that Kyriad had taken over the Campanile!! There is also an elegant Pizzeria on the same site. There is ample parking and the hotel is well situated on the edge of the countryside with close access to the motorway, connecting to others in all directions.

Best Campanile stay yet! We had an amazing night in this Campanile. The breakfast spread was the most impressive of any Campanile we have stayed in. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that in a double there is only ever one chair.. It was a restful, peaceful night and it set us up for the next leg of our journey.

This is a convenient and very friendly stop over on our journey south. It allows us to have a leisurely meal and good sleep to break our journey and do a bit of sight seeing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again
