We had a great stay at the Donna Carmela Resort. It's a beautiful property full with plenty of space and wonderful greenery. We were upgraded to a 2-floor room which allowed for space with our child. The pool is also wonderful and was very quiet while we were there. Breakfast was amazing, there is a huge table of Sicilian sweet treats to choose from, plus a small continental buffet and plenty of a la carte options. The resort is well-located between Catania and Taormina but the area itself around the hotel doesn't have much to offer, one really needs a car to get around.

Très bel établissement qui correspond aux standards du groupe SLH. Personnel professionnel et très agréable. Le cadre est superbe avec cette stupéfiante végétation luxuriante. Le petit déjeuner est excellent ! Sous forme de buffet avec un service de commandes à la carte ! Des produits de qualité et un Chef pâtissier excellent ! Un lieu magnifique où calme, luxe et attentions sont les maîtres mots. Merci à toute l’équipe.

Exzellentes Hotel, toller Service, freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal, wunderschöne, gepflegte Anlage. Fantastisches Frühstücke, Sternenküche im Restaurant. Wir haben die fünf Tage in vollen Zügen genossen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Nulla da eccepire! La struttura, il personale, i servizi, la pulizia e tutto ciò che riguarda questo resort sono la perfezione. In Sicilia molti dovrebbero guardare il Donna Carmela come un punto di riferimento! Abbiamo anche avuto un inaspettato upgrade che ci ha reso felici e abbiamo passato un soggiorno stupendo e una serata perfetta. Non si può non ritornare!!

Una location incantevole immersa in un parco/giardino tropicale, la zona dove abbiamo cenato all'aperto contornata da piante fiori e ulivi spettacolari. Un'accoglienza speciale, un servizio eccellente ed una proposta culinaria squisita, abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione "Brezza", splendida esperienza! Ambiente di campagna raffinato e di classe. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

Beautiful place to stay, green surroundings, very appealing architecture, very friendly staff and great restaurant. Great location to visit Etna, Taormina and Syrakus while staying in this oasis.

This classy hotel is located in well kept tropical gardens and lawns, with a stunning view of mount Etna. It’s main asset is its friendly, competent and discretely helpful staff, from the welcome desk, to housekeeping and the restaurant staff. The outdoor breakfast and dinner were delicious. We did find the breakfast a bit on the sweet side, but on day two, found some heartier cold-cuts and rye bread as well. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing. One minor detail is the railway nearby with sporadic passage, but not disturbing, definitely not inside the room. The bed- and adjacent bathroom were very spacious, nicely decorated and we slept very comfortably. The only caveat is that its opulent luxury attracts a certain “clientele” with a sense of entitlement. I was cut off in my little Audi rental and TOLD TO WAIT by a limo driver who stopped to pick up her clients IN THE MIDDLE of the common driveway. Not the hotel’s fault of course…
