Just back from a week in the riviera. Fantastic holiday. Photos are fair representation. We had a superior lake view double and a classic single. The single is small as shown in pictures but my daughter liked it. When refurbishing if the do an open or slide door wardrobe will work better in this space. The superior room had free safe, drinks fridge (deceptively roomy and useful for milk), kettle tea bags coffee and sugar. Both rooms had free water bottles. Proper showers. Blinds to darken rooms at night. Superior was electric control, the single a manual belt. We had trouble with this first time and let it go too far but the hotel fixed it straight away and then my daughter managed fine after. Breakfast fantastic. Best croissants ever. Scrambled eggs, boiler for boiling eggs, bacon, cold continental options, cereal, fruit, pastries, bread and toaster, jam honey, good juices, tea, coffee. Dinner. Always found something to choose for the 3 courses. Extra veggie options when needed. If you are not able to choose at breakfast as out for an early you can choose at dinner and it was not a long wait. The menu is in reception so you know the options in advance if you didn’t make breakfast. Pool area beautiful and peaceful. Enough loungers and lounge cushions. Never had trouble whatever time of day. Lovely hot tub. As well as the honesty fridge with very reasonably priced drinks there is a bathroom which was good. The hotel staff were very helpful, have timetables for busses and ferry and helped us with the free Trentino card which gives free local buses (we used to go to Arco) and free access including on the funicular to the bastion on the other side of riva for the views. We also used paid bus to malcesine 10 euros for 3 adults one way, and lake ledro 8.10 euros for 3 one way. Bedding and towels were changed frequently in the week. Location was very peaceful but short walk to coop supermarket and didn’t take us more than 30 minutes to town centre. Lake is just behind the port so only a few minutes walk. In the evenings there is a drinks menu and phone on the 4th floor breakfast terrace if you would like to have a drink up there rather than ground floor bar. Sofas and loungers as well as tables and chairs. Lots of repeat visitors to this hotel and I think we will be back too.
