Hotels near Foot Locker, Riverside

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside to our trip were the strong sewage smell outside of the hotel, at the entrance. It was persistently present each time we accessed the building. Another smell on the second floor was as string but not offensive, like vinegar near rooms # 210-220. My daughter thought it smelled like a dentist’s office. Smells aside, the halls are brightly lighted and clean with inspirational quotes on each door. Continental breakfast was served daily and the pool was open, though we were too busy to enjoy it. He fitness room remained closed due to the pandemic. We would stay here again fir the convenience on/off the 91 freeway. The beds were not luxury but not terrible. They could be improved with a memory foam topper.

Motel parking is very convenient, no breakfast, basically the preferred hotel for self-driving tour, the room is a bit old, the TV is still the style of the old convex screen, the health can generally live, there are many things to eat around, about three kilometers from UCR.

I booked this hotel months in advance for new year's eve (and paid for in advance through Chase portal) for 2 double beds. When I arrived, I'm given one king bed to fit FOUR ADULTS. According to the property manager, their system claims I booked a king sized bed when my email reservation AND Chase's system clearly states 2 double beds. I tried to rectify the situation with the property only to get deflected to talk to chase first before Marriott can do anything. They deflect further and said we're not the only ones who had this ”system bug” where they were given a king bed instead of 2 doubles, as if that's an acceptable excuse. Property manager proposed I could try to stay elsewhere...on new year's eve where the surrounding 20 miles are all completely booked. I asked for a full refund for this egregious mistake and all they could offer me was $50 + free parking (total value $20). They had no roll out beds available or couch in the room either so imagine my dismay when we're trying to fit 4 people comfortably. They offered us blankets and pillows to sleep on the ground. I normally would not go so far as to write a complaint such as this but when I contacted Chase Travel, I spoke to their supervisor. She tried to contact this property with me on the phone and repeatedly got hung up on. This is completely unacceptable customer service, and I am severely disappointed in Marriott. To anyone reading this, please be aware that if you book anything through a portal, call to double check with the hotel that it truly is what you reserved.

Close to the university, near the highway, and convenient transportation. There are good dining rooms in the surroundings, all kinds of tastes. Quiet and clean. Breakfast is a bit simpler, but you can eat it in a small restaurant nearby. pretty good. There are also many convenience stores, beauty salon services, and movie theaters in the surrounding area.

before making reservations i called the hotel because for some reason my employee discount was not going through for my second nigh, so i was transfer to reservations and there the nice representative told me to just book the night and when checking in to tell the receptionist to use my employee discount for the 2nd night (she told me there was available rooms for my second day and didnt understand why i wasnt able to reserve) i also asked her if it was ok to switch one room to a queen bed and she said ”of course just let the receptionist know and she should be able to accomidate you”...so i booked. next day we arrive we were not even greeted by the receptionist ALISA(but notice that the guest before and after us were nicely greeted they were both african american guest)she had a really bad attitude, rolled her eyes a couple of times when we asked questions, i let her know about what the reservations agent told me to tell her and so she tell me that she count accomidate me for the second night so i told her that why would someone tell me something an another one something else...so i said its fine...so shre proseed to doing the reservations and i told her if she can atleast change my room to a queen bed,she right away took a long breath and rolled her eyes and stared to the screen for a minute and then went to the back desk and slammed the doors csame back with some room keys after we just went to our room...the room was nicee and clean except when we went to the restroom...there was haair in the floor and pieces of toilet paper like if the floors werent sweep.....we would not mind going back there but they need to talk to thats ALISA girl!! the ”breakfast” was a joke ....an orange,muffin,granola bar and peanuts in A brown bag...it was kitty carders like ALISA had said when we asked her about the breakfast....no temperature checks,no sanatizers.

Nice clean hotel! Love that they gave us extra towels in advance. Breakfast was AMAZING! Good variety of food. Starbucks across the street was the deal breaker.

I spent two nights here while visiting my girlfriend in Grand Terrace. Room was just fine and nice friendly staff. Only thing I noticed was wrong is that it would be nice for a hook in the bathroom to hang your clothes on and no luggage fold out stand to put your luggage on.Otherwise a very nice room! Comfortable bed, nice floor and clean. I would stay again!!

The kitchen that was the main reason I book this hotel, and she didn’t disappoint. I had everything I needed ! I loved the complimentary dinner and breakfast offered (dinner mon-wed I believe) also the laundry room. The parking was awful haha but no complaints here luckily everything else outshined that also the front desk woman was very sweet and made me feel comfortable I wish I could remember her name but I know her last name was 3 letters long :

This hotel is in a good location off I-10. We only stayed here as it was a convenient stopping point on our road trip to get to our next destination. The hotel is nice looking from the outside. Plenty of parking. Front desk staff were not particularly friendly. The room though, was dirty. There were food crumb on on the desk, below the desk, and on the desk chair. In the bath, there were several pillowcases left behind from somewhere. The toilet had not been cleaned properly. The shower doors are covered with soap scum and the shower itself has soap remnants, hair, and had also not been cleaned properly. I sure would not recommend this hotel and am baffled why anyone would. Unless you have low standards. Holiday Inn now seems to be the lowest class of hotels.
