Last year, while in the middle of a major move from Maine to Colorado, I accidentally booked five rooms at School 31 Lofts for the wrong city. I realized the mistake quickly and called less than 24 hours later to cancel and rebook in Albany, where we actually needed to stay. Instead of helping correct an honest error — and despite the bookings being made under 24 hours earlier — they refused to cancel and charged my card $1,198.30. No flexibility, no courtesy, and no willingness to work with a customer who made a simple mistake during an already stressful move. I strongly urge future guests to be very cautious when booking with School 31 Lofts. Their policies are rigid, and their customer service was extremely disappointing.

It was a unique and awesome stay. The only feedback I have is that I had my heart set on the room I chose on ******* but I was given a different room. It was still a nice room and turned out fine. Very cool building and concept!

Highly recommended. I was very pleased as I entered my spacious and clean loft! My 5 day stay was in a beautiful area and I had a great view of the Memorial Art Gallery. Big, beautiful bathroom with some small setbacks… no towel rack or hooks and no soap holder in the shower. Sounds minor but is really major in the scheme of things. I bought a sponge holder from TJ MAXX and attached it as a soap holder for my comfort during my stay. I hope this little/big thing is fixed in time for my next stay. I really loved staying here!

If you want to stay in a truly unique place, this is it! I love the thought of being in such a historic building. The checkin process is via code/virtual, so I did not encounter any staff personally. Very walkable to many art installations, restaurants, and the Public Market. We will stsy again!

Wonderful gem in the heart of arts neighborhood Another great stay at this hotel. Everything was lovely, from the communication response, the beautiful space. Only thing that was still lacking was a microwave, but it wasn't a big deal.
