We were in town for the funeral of my brother-in-law and needed a place to stay for 4 nights. Good price and close to my husband's sister and her family. The check-in was easy and the front desk was very friendly. The room was good, but upon walking in we had the smell of Chinese food. It was long lasting, so we stopped at the Dollar Tree and picked up a plug-in air freshener, which eliminated the smell. Room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Beds were too hard for my liking, but others might like that type of bedding. That is just preference, so no bearing on the hotel or room itself. Full kitchen, which we did not utilize. Walls seem pretty solid, as we never heard a peep outside or from other rooms. Breakfast was meh. They had some Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, which are already tasty. However, the scrambled eggs were rock solid and quite bland. My husband enjoyed the sausage. Took forever for them to refill the waffle mix and by the time they had we were ready to leave for the day. Overall, it's great if your not picky (I have two picky boys), but if you are there is a Cracker Barrel across Dave Lyle Blvd, which is quite yummy. No housekeeping on the weekends, unless requested. Overall, it was a good stay. I'd recommend it to others, but I think I will pass on it because of the hard beds.
This was a very nice, clean hotel with a welcoming staff. The room itself was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We had a quiet stay on the 4th floor. These things are very important to us. However there are a couple of shortcomings I need to mention. The bathroom is poorly designed, especially the entry door. You need to be actually sitting on the toilet or off to the side to shut the door. It’s a squeeze for 2 people to use the vanity together. The shower soap dispenser was empty when I got in the shower our first night. I asked for them to refill it or leave us some soap but they did not. Fortunately I had brought some for emergency use. My husband and I take a lot of showers since we work out and would have appreciated this. They did leave us more towels which were large and fluffy (something I appreciate). Everything else went so well here, I hope this small, but necessary housekeeping error will be corrected.

1st time staying with Holiday Inn in years. Check in was quick and easy. The room was updated and clean hallways and common areas also very clean. I travel for work so when I got back to the hotel it was nice to be able to just change clothes and go down to the restaurant for dinner. I had the best Rose martini I’ve ever had and the food was delicious the bartender was also very nice as well as the rest of the staff. I was even more impressed when the bill came and it was the cost was the same as an average eat in restaurant. After dinner I was able to take what seemed like an hour long shower with hot water that never let up & neither did the water pressure. I loved the updated walk In shower BUT wish they had updated the lighting. The bed was very comfy (I like a soft mattress) with a thick duvet cover. The ac pumped out freezing cold air and the wifi signal stayed very strong. Plenty of outlets for all my devices to charge. They are just normal outlets no usb. Booking didn’t list it for “breakfast included” but it was. They had several hot and cold options. The only negative is I travel for work and have to have a formal receipt for reimbursement. since I booked with Booking they couldn’t give me a proper receipt (one with the actual price) said I would have to use my confirmation email. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels using booking and never had this issue. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in town. Again I forgot to take pix before bringing my luggage in and seems I forgot to take one of the bathroom/shower
This is my favorite hotel in the United States, not one of them. The reason is simple, not because of how high-end and luxurious, but the room is clean and tidy, big enough, cost-effective, super convenient location, quiet, convenient parking, convenient travel.

We stayed here for 9 nights so really got a feel for the hotel. We had a king room with one large bed. The rooms are fine but they do lack storage, and as we were staying for 9 nights we did have a bit of baggage. There is nowhere to put your suitcases, they don’t fit under the bed there are no drawers, and only a few hangers. We made do by putting our clothes in piles on top of the air con unit, and bench type seat, dressing table and wherever we could find space. We made it work. The room was clean, we only had housekeeping twice during that stay, we had to turn her away at 0750 in the morning and we asked if she could come back later and she said no. Bathroom was a nice size, had lovely toiletries. Hot water took a while to come through but it did always get there. We had a blocked sink and that was fixed very quickly. Bed was super comfortable, pillows not so, a bit lumpy. The gym was fab, nice and clean, and modern. Not massive but very well equipped and well maintained equipment. The pool was also nice and well maintained. Complimentary tea and coffee 24/7 was great too, nice touch and coffee was good. Reception staff were all very friendly and accommodating with anything we needed help with. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. On a Saturday/Sunday and Wednesday it was noticeably better than the other days. There was more of a variety of food put out, like bacon, Grits, more fruit composite, yoghurts etc… it never ran out even when busy as the other days, not so much hot choice and it did run out and we had to wait. The reception area was always kept very clean and tidy, always someone wiping surfaces and cleaning. The location was nice and quiet, within walking distance to a few local restaurants like Applebys, Ruby Tuesdays, cracker barrel, longhorn steakhouse. Overall a nice, pleasant stay.
everything was as we expected. Good place to stay. Great breakfast.

The La Quinta in Rock Hill is a great property with a good location to Charlotte and provides affordable, clean, well-maintained accommodations. The manager Kristen was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel room maintained by Ana was spotless and very well kept. Overall, the property is very well maintained and has a new feeling to it.
Maria.S is helping all the time if you need it and keeps filling the food up again and again the rooms were clean 🧽 clean towels it was nice 😊 thank you for letting us stay here I will come here again thank you for everything oh and the food was delicious 🤤 thanks a lot xoxo Anzel
We like Comfort Inns but they can be hit or miss. This is definitely a hit. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Breakfast so so but that may be b/c of COVID. Good restaurants nearby and we recommend the Pump House. Definitely recommend. Book via Choice Hotels for best rate.
AAmber GHORRIBLE place. Do not stay here. Not only is it unclean and under construction, but its also completely unsafe. Especially if you have children with you. the photos make it seem so clean and comfortable and well taken care of but it is not. We arrived around 1 pm and were allowed early check in, so we got our room. When walking up the flight of stairs we had to walk past a man who was playing loud music and drinking alcohol at the top of the steps. This man proved to be an issue for the remaining 5 hours we were there. He would purposely come out of his room whenever my teenage daughter was out and stared at her, there were other people hanging out in cars next to ours and we were constantly being watched. To the point we would look out of the window before stepping out of our room to see if anyone was outside. Shortly after we would leave the room to swim or go to dinner the men would step out again just constantly watching our children. The phones in the rooms do not work, they are just for show. The linens are stained, rooms were dirty. After the last incident of my daughter being stared at as we walked up the stairs and then seeing him watch her and turn his head as she passed him and only coming out of his room for this purpose we decided to check out, that we didn't want to risk staying the night. My husband packed us up and loaded the vehicle and pulled over to the front office to talk to the manager who is COMPLETLEY aware of the issues there with their 'long term' residents. He asked my husband which side were the people bothering us at and he explained they were to the right of us. The man just put his head down and shook his head. Then proceeded to tell my husband ”You can either stay or leave that is up to you” but wouldn't give a refund or move our rooms or anything to resolve this issue. The room beneath us was also under construction while our room had paint peeling from the ceiling which I am including a photo of for reference to the condition of this place.
