Afgelopen zondag 2 nachten verbleven in dit huiselijke hotel met bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. Warme ontvangst. Onze geboekte kamer was een suite en superleuk voor een stel maar samen met een vriendin toch iets te weinig privacy. De volgende dag gevraagd on andere kamer maar hotel zat vol helaas. Een uurtje later kwam Erica ons echter toch verblijden met een andere kamer omdat er een afmelden was. Dit meedenken hebben we gewaardeerd. Lekker ontbijt, mooie omgeving. Zwembad is onverwarmd maar toch lekker wat verfrissende baantjes gezwommen.Kortom heerlijk even korte vakantie vibe ervaren.

We betaalden € 243,- voor een nacht inclusief ontbijt. Dat was het niet waard. We sliepen in het Duingebouw. Alles is hier gedateerd. Kamers zijn erg donker, koude vloer, douchen in het bad. Uitzicht op bomen. Geen privacy op het balkon. Ontbijt was prima maar zeker niets bijzonders. Dat verwacht ik wel van een 4* hotel en zoveel geld. Ligging van het hotel is goed. Vlakbij het strand. Bediening is aardig. Zwembad niet gebruikt omdat het slecht weer was.

Not sure what this place is trying to be in that, on approach, it looks like a 1970’s building but as you walk in, it turns all ‘wooden ‘! It’s actually really nice with alternative furnishings and attractive decor with a lovely open fireplace in the bar/restaurant area. The staff are friendly and helpful (and patient!) and the whole place feels warm and welcoming. There is an outdoor swimming pool, which isn’t heated, and I believe there was a sauna too. Unfortunately, this hotel still offers single rooms and when I say single rooms, I mean SINGLE rooms....mine was tiny! I can’t remember the last time I slept (or tried to) in a single bed - it was a whole new learning experience! The door to the tiny bathroom opened outwards and you had to manoeuvre yourself carefully to make sure it didn’t trap you against the wall and, it wouldn’t stay open so I had to wedge it open because the bathroom itself was so hot. Great location with a 10-15 min walk to the beach. Anyhow, pleasant enough, small rooms but nice touches. I attach a photo of my favourite feature😊

Bijna 700 euro betaald voor 2 nachten in vreselijk gedateerd appartement met jute behang en inrichting vergane glorie. Bedompt kamertje, gehorig, badkamer geen ventilatie, ingezakte bank en oudbollig restaurant. Mijn advies: alles *****pen en opnieuw beginnen, maak er een luxe hotel van want de locatie, zwembad ( onverwarmd) en het eten zijn wel goed

We had a fabulous stay. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable, we had two nights of great sleep. The bar/restaurant was lovely, we sat by the fire for drinks and enjoyed delicious dinner. The team were fantastic and looked after us throughout our stay. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend BadHotel Rockanje.
