250 Main Hotel

This is a fabulous hotel - well pointed with attention to all the details, design and quiet luxury! One of the best hotels I stayed in - very modern, updated and clean! I was personally very surprised - not sure what I expected but it was lovely! Great place for a getaway!

Very nice boutique hotel. Next to the town's main street. Nice , large rooms. Parking free on the street on weekends or free all the time ii municipal lot a block away. Clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Had issue with our room. Bathroom door wouldnt close or lock and would swing open. They gave us another room. A downgrade and agreed to reimburse us the lower rate. Havent gotten it yet.

Lovely, comfortable modern hotel with great design and art program. Located right on Main Street in Rockland across from the harbor and within walking distance of restaurants, museums, and shops. Friendly, professional staff provided helpful recommendations. Pleasant breakfast available in the lobby in the mornings. And check out the rooftop deck for a great view! I'd definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had 3 rooms booked for our group and arrived several hours early after a 5 day sailing trip on one of the schooners out of Rockland. We asked if there was any way we could check in early to one of the rooms, and within a half hour they were able to allow us into all 3 rooms. The lobby and rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and they had interesting art work and lots of games and books to borrow. The breakfast and wine and cheese were very nice quality. The rooftop deck had amazing views. Great customer service! Everyone we met was very professional and so friendly. Highly recommend!

Hubby and I had a nice time at the 250 Main hotel. We stayed in the Fabulous room, which was spacious with a king bed (or a queen, I can’t remember!), a long dresser in front of a wall of windows, a chair, bedside tables, and a big bathroom with incredible products! The bed was very comfortable and linens lovely. The breakfast was delicious, and a highlight for us was Natalie’s OJ, our favorite. By booking through the hotel, we enjoyed a glass of wine upon arrival during their social hour and took it to the rooftop. Wow! What a space! I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel conveniently located in Rockland, Maine close to the Farnsworth Museum, shops, restaurants and waterfront. First of all, they have sparkling water on tap with bottles for guests to bring to their rooms. The breakfast was continental style with a lovely selection of croissants, yogurt, granola, fruit, juice and coffee. This hotel focuses on the little details....fresh flowers, lovely local artwork for sale, and an extremely attentive staff. Finally, the bed was luxurious with comfortable cotton percale sheets and ample pillows. I will look forward to staying here again.

My husband and I stayed here for the first leg of our trip to Maine in May (2024). We absolutely loved it! We were on the top floor and used the stairs, which, by the way, have great sayings on each flight of steps! So cute and clever! The bed was comfortable, our view was pretty good, didn't face the water entirely, but it was still good. The bathroom was great! The only bad thing was how loud the AC units on the roof were, they woke me up, but not my husband. But I put my ear buds in and was fine after that. Our first night, it was still very cool out, so those didn't kick on and I slept so well. The next two nights were my only issue. The staff was so nice and helpful! And the lobby was great with a great view to the ocean. We loved this place and how convenient it was to walk to places and to get to. Parking is off the street or there is a lot down the hill across the street, both options were convenient. Can't recommend this place enough! Out of the three different hotels we stayed in on this trip, this was THE best! Oh - and the view from the roof deck, absolutely fabulous!

Charming boutique hotel that is right on the water. I’m not one for moving hotels every night to explore an area; 250 in Rockland was a great location for exploring the coast of Maine. The hotel’s employees were extremely friendly and very helpful, especially regarding restaurant reservations. (Important to note that the hours of all restaurants vary so always check before going.) The morning snack was always fresh and a fair amount of food to hold one over until their lunchtime lobster roll. The evening wine and snack was also a lovely bonus, too. We stayed on the second floor facing the harbor. If you are considering staying here and are a light sleeper, I would recommend booking a higher floor. Additionally, the walls are not exactly soundproof; I heard my neighbors frequently. Personally, I was not bothered but wanted to note for others. The parking was another bonus for this hotel. During our stay, we always found a spot right out front. Just move your car before 11 am. I found parking nearly impossible and/or expensive in busier towns. The room was modern and clean. There is a lack of counter space in the bathroom. There was not a safe in the room. The area did feel very safe; however, important to note if you’re traveling with valuables. I particularly loved the water fill stations and the coffee was local and very good!

We stayed at the end of May in this awesome modern hotel at one end of the Main Street of Rockland across from the harbor with great views and spacious comfortable room. Staff were friendly and gave us some great recommendations on local dining spots. They even shipped my phone charger back to me when I left it in our room! A perfect spot for a long weekend sojourn!
