If your looking for a very basic, 1 star stay then this is the place. Apartments are clean and basic. We did self catering so we can't comment on the breakfast. Location of this complex was fantastic, literally a very short walk to all the bars/shops and restaurants. There is a shop on site which is very reasonable and has everything you could possible need. However, just a few things to mention... If you struggle with stairs I'd recommend requesting a ground floor apartment..it was a struggle carrying the suitcase up/down the stairs. We were disappointed to find out that the rooms/towel change only happens every third day. Also, you had to pay for the AC..this was not stated on both the website or at booking so would of been good to know this prior to checking in.

Traditional Greek self catering accommodation, ok the kitchen and bathroom could do with an upgrade but everything was spotless, comfy beds, towels changed every 3/4 days, bed linen every week. The pool area was lovely. We were made welcome by Elana and her team. A special thank you to Jenny.

On arrival, the first thing to notice was the green stain all around the inside of the pool, which reflects & makes the water look awful. Was shown to our room, which was very basic, one plug socket in the kitchen, for fridge, oven & kettle. There was no toaster which I think is a given in a self catering apartment. The shower…..:well what can I say about that. Absolutely terrible. Didn’t hang on the wall properly, wet everything through in the bathroom as the shower curtain only went half way across. No plug for the bathroom sink. The bed was very comfy, but not an awful lot of cupboard space. It was cleaned and the sheets changed every 3 days which was good. When we tried to open the patio doors, we couldn’t, so went for the owner & she opened them straight away (had a knack) but I felt like I was being stupid. One of the main reasons we booked here was because ‘snacks’ were available round the pool, all there was were crisps, which meant you had to leave at lunchtime to get something to eat, where I would’ve preferred to have stayed round the pool all day instead of coming & going. Can’t knock the location, absolutely bang in the middle of everything. Would I stay here again…….probably not, bit too basic for me!

I found the apartment perfectly acceptable for our needs. Old in style but roomy and clean. The appliances had seen better days and really did need replacing. Outside our room there were odd items, old boiler, ladders etc which really could have done with being removed and a strange smell of damp. The location of the apartments were perfect though. Peaceful in the evening but only a few minutes walk from the beach. I found the bed perfectly comfortably and the apartment itself secure. I agree with other reviewers, the pool did have a green stain around the sides of the pool but was only a stain and not mould etc and the pool itself a little murky and not crystal clear like many others we visited. I too was disappointed that the only snacks around the pool were crisps and no hot snacks available. I had no interaction with the owners so cannot comment on their friendliness etc which was fine with me. To sum up, would I visit again? Yes, but I do know what to expect and have no high expectations. Roda Pearl Resort is basic, clean and well located and, I believe, doesnt profess to being anything other than 3 star accommodation its awarded.

As seen in the picture the kettle had maggots at the bottom! When I approached the host to inform her of this I was accused of burning the bottom of the kettle and she refused to even acknowledge my concerns about the live maggotswhen it was very obvious that the kettle had not been used for some time as the maggots were still moving inside, on top of the burnt area which can be seen from the photo! The host was very rude and not accommodating at all. We checked out the next morning and when we got to the taxi my partner realised he’d left his phone in the bathroom of the apartment. When he went back to get it it was gone! we rang it many times but then it got switched off. The only other person who had been in the room was the host. They looked and looked and she conveniently found the phone in the bed side cabinet draw and it wasn’t even the side he was sleeping on! Before we left we obviously checked all draws and wardrobes and the phone was definitely not in there! We tracked the phone and it was at reception then was conveniently back at the room when the host came back to “help” find it. This situation left us both in total shock and we definitely won’t be staying here again!!!

but the staff are not welcoming at all. Felt a little unwanted by the team, even though I'm friendly to them. Room was fine, doinky beds. Happy with the stay, just a good spot to sleep. Roda was beautiful!

I’ve booked this place because it said it had a snack bar and restaurant, in fact it only does a very basic breakfast for €7. No snack bar the only thing available is crisps. The roof terrace is inaccessible and all the sunbeds are stacked up in the corner and covered over. The pool has a very large green 5 inch rim around the waterline and is very slippy underfoot, in fact it has brought me out in a rash. It is nothing like the photos at all and the owner is not very nice.In fact she shouted at me in front of all the guests with regard to minor damage that was done to a sheet, a small hole the size of my small finger nail. Of which I apologised profusely and said it was an accident and she charged me €30. The equipment is very old and basic, the fridge had a mouldy seal and in fact it also had a catch put on the fridge to prevent the door from opening constantly, the side of the small cooker hob was filthy. The shower was minute and facing the toilet which was directly next to it so every time you had a shower you were showering the toilet and the floor was flooded every time. Being disabled and walking on crutches this was really dangerous.Outside the back door was to old steel beds leaning up against the wall and a set of stepladders rotting vegetables in a bucket and stacks of tiles old buckets et cetera. Also access it was up to steps being disabled I was told I was on the ground floor and wasn’t told about the steps. The door to the patio had a very loose lock and marks to show it had been broken into prior. The shower taps and sink taps were very rusty and the shower pressure was rubbish. Finally the beds were unbelievably uncomfortable and the pillows very hard. The patio furniture was not as it shows on the photos. The hotel is in a very good position it’s just a shame about the experience I have had here. I would not recommend for anybody who has mobility issues or elderly or anyone who expects there to be a snack bar for food if you wish to stay in the hotel as it does not exist. Breakfast is very very basic nothing hot just sliced cheese cheap luncheon meat from the nearby shop a boiled egg some tomatoes and cereal and toast. Much better choice in the village and cheaper. Kitchen utensils all very old including a frying pan with a base that was blown out and couldn’t sit properly on the cooker and very old and scratched and one large pan. The owners attitude completely ruined my holiday, Other guests also complaining.

Just returned from a another fabulous two weeks at the Roda Pearl Resort! This was our third stay here and will definitely be returning next year. We had a large two bedroom apartment ( no.11) which was extremely comfortable and had everything very needed. Bedrooms were very large and airy with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The kitchen had everything we needed with a large fridge/freezer, electric hobs and grill (didn't use) and plenty of equipment. Large bathroom with hairdryer. Typical Greek shower with tray and curtain but if you pulled the curtain right round past the loo you didn't get a flood!!! Balcony was huge with large table and chairs. Always shady with a gentle breeze most of the time. Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and nice choice of hot/cold drinks from the bar. Elena, the owner, always on hand and couldn't be more helpful. Great location too in the heart of the village with a well stocked supermarket on your doorstep. All in all a little paradise on the heart of Roda.

Owner quite rude she complained cause at breakfast ( very poor) I took 1 slice of cheese three times, there’s everyday the same cake to eat ( the only sweet option from the buffet)almost impossible to take shower ( room 11) because if you close the curtains you’ll shower with toilet next to you making everywhere wet on the floor, used the pool dressing a white swimsuit that now is kind of green Definitely do not recommend even if the location is good ( but there are so many places around to choose from)
