To summarize my review upfront: This is a wonderful place to stay in Rodalben. A cozy hotel with an outstanding breakfast buffet and clean rooms. It is just a short walk to the many hiking trails surrounding the city. The people are friendly, helpful and immediately remembers details about your preferences and needs. The in-house chocolatier and bakery specializing in cakes are a nice bonus. After a long hike on the "Felsenwanderweg", one of the panoramic trails surrounding the city, stop at your hotel's main dining room and have an afternoon coffee and a piece of homemade cake. While the hotel's own restaurant is not open anymore, it is just a short walk to many other dining options - there is even information about them in every guest room. The Wifi is free, and so is parking in the back. Perfect!
