The Soco House is staffed with wonderful people. They are what makes the property. The overall property is older but well cared for. The food is fantastic. Everything is al a carte with lots of choices. We liked this much better than the typical buffet. the pool are is peaceful. this is not a place for spring break atmosphere.

Never get to any food at all. 1st we order toast in morning, bread had mold in it. Show it waiter all she did is took back. Told from desk, nothing response back. We told her never eating here, she’s ok with that. 2days in row our room didn’t get cleaned. Had wait long time to get clean towels.

Without doubt the rudest customer service I have ever experienced staying at a hotel.
The hotel is overall clean with nice facilities however is overshadowed by the appalling manner of the staff. The vast majority are incapable of smiling and are blatantly rude.
For breakfast expect a wait of 1 to 1.5hrs for your food to be served, the majority of days we simply accepted its the way it is however on one occasion had a morning excursion booked. On this particular day we arrived for breakfast 1.5hrs in advance and made a special request as politely as possible for our food to be as fast as possible given we were on a schedule. Unsurprisingly despite several reminders, breakfast arrived 1hr later. When we asked for the manager to complain his response to our concerns was ‘ok not a problem’.
If you are seeking a relaxing friendly boutique hotel, stay away. Soco Hotel is definitely not the place.

For the most part, most of the staff was amazing… Some need help in the smile department.
I was disappointed with the menu, where I was told it changes every two days but that’s a myth… That said. I was impressed with the head staff/ manager that tried to accommodate my expectations by addressing the catch of the day situation.
I was disappointed that some staff were not on board with each other. We would be told one thing and another staff would tell a different story pertaining to activities or addressing an issue. I called for towels and to have the washroom cleaned, a staff came and partially cleaned, I was not too adamant for cleaning the whole suit, but I asked if I can have tissue, since all was finished, I left the resort for home, which was Tuesday morning, and I am still waiting on the tissue.
For an all inclusive adult resort, there could be much more fun and exciting activities to entertain and encourage the guest to spend more time engaging and dancing
I was impressed that the ground staff were always doing an amazing job with the landscaping and surrounding areas. Enough said! I enjoyed my stay and wish all the staff the very best for 2024!

It was stated that check in was at 3pm . Got there at 3 and had to wait over 2 hours for a room . The food made both of us sick . Wouldnt recommend . The staff were friendly best thing about the hotel. Other than that it is a no for me

Unlike what was described in *******, the junior suite we booked had neither a balcony nor a terrace. Much of the necessary information at check-in was only provided upon request. People with “special” dietary requirements (vegetarian, allergies, etc.) must pre-order meals and even then only receive a compromise dish.
The number of sun loungers at the pool does not come close to meeting the needs of the guests; loungers with towels are reserved as early as 7 a.m. The alternative to this are partly broken loungers on the beach (approx. 5 minutes on foot). The advertised gym is a room for 2 people that must be booked in advance. Of the 4 bars listed, only 2 were open. All in all, the price-performance ratio is poor; The expectations of an all-inclusive resort were not even close to being met.
