Nice small lodge in a very nice location of the island.
Good food even if there is not much choice.
Good service, friendly staff
There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms and the access road to the lodge is quite bad, fortunately only for a final short stretch.

This was an excellent stay and a wonderful way to discover the many things that Rodrigues has to offer. Jean and his staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The lodge prioritises natural access to the beach and a wonderful sense of secludedness. Some thoughtful amenities are included and activities and tours can be organised. Food was a highlight. Loved every moment!

Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour en aout 2024, au Bakwa Lodge. Charmant petit hôtel, avec une ambiance chaleureuse. Personnel très accueillant. Cuisine exceptionnelle fait chaque jour. Hôtel situé au départ du sentier vers les plus belles plages de Rodrigues. idéal pour se déconnecter le temps d'un séjour.

Delightful boutique beach front property with attractive gardens. Staff were friendly, caring & efficient. A special thank you to Jean the manager who assisted us when a medical issue occurred. Will definitely stay here again when next on Rodrigues.

Congratulations to the entire bakwa team! The place is beautiful on the edge of the most beautiful beach on the island, in the nature the ecolodges await you, very spacious the rooms have a sea view, very clean, in the middle of the nature of Rodrigues. Beyond beautiful walks towards bottle cove, silver cove, gravel…. Rent a vehicle, I recommend a pick-up and set off to explore the island! The meals are excellent….

Small establishment with only 8 rooms, divided into 4 buildings scattered over a large plot of land with a lagoon view. The staff is extremely helpful, kind and serious. Incredibly good meal, cooked daily. The room is very spacious with an outdoor shower and a large terrace. Direct beach access, possibility of renting a scooter to visit the island. Superb establishment: simple but effective! Well done and thank you for everything.
