Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour en aout 2024, au Bakwa Lodge. Charmant petit hôtel, avec une ambiance chaleureuse. Personnel très accueillant. Cuisine exceptionnelle fait chaque jour. Hôtel situé au départ du sentier vers les plus belles plages de Rodrigues. idéal pour se déconnecter le temps d'un séjour.

Delightful boutique beach front property with attractive gardens. Staff were friendly, caring & efficient. A special thank you to Jean the manager who assisted us when a medical issue occurred. Will definitely stay here again when next on Rodrigues.

Congratulations to the entire bakwa team! The place is beautiful on the edge of the most beautiful beach on the island, in the nature the ecolodges await you, very spacious the rooms have a sea view, very clean, in the middle of the nature of Rodrigues. Beyond beautiful walks towards bottle cove, silver cove, gravel…. Rent a vehicle, I recommend a pick-up and set off to explore the island! The meals are excellent….

Small establishment with only 8 rooms, divided into 4 buildings scattered over a large plot of land with a lagoon view. The staff is extremely helpful, kind and serious. Incredibly good meal, cooked daily. The room is very spacious with an outdoor shower and a large terrace. Direct beach access, possibility of renting a scooter to visit the island. I had a pleasant stay in an enchanting setting. I booked a lagoon suite but based on the photos I have the impression that I was assigned a family suite. The rate base is the same but not the room configuration. But it's not big deal! ☺️ Otherwise all the staff are incredible, especially Jean, the director but also Thierry, Christine and Nathalie! This is the second time we have gone to this establishment and this time we had rented the villa and were extremely disappointed, firstly the villa was not available on the planned dates...And the management gave us confusing information for explain it... At installation, air conditioning which does not work, poor quality bedding and to top it all off, mice who invite themselves in the evening for aperitifs! Not to mention the locals who were partying every night because it was New Year's Eve! And left the beach full of rubbish the next day... In short, a very expensive establishment for the services they sell, we will not come back. Fortunately there were the warm smiles and kindness of the staff!

Excellent stay at Bakwa ! Jean the GM and team are here to make sure that your stay is memorable. Food, rooms and atmosphere are great ! The beach in front is exceptional. We also had a boat trip with Eliott, he is very friendly and adapt to your needs. Definitely, an amazing out of this world stay ! Will definitely come back !
