Poor reception, presence not acknowledged for several minutes, Bedroom very small, carpet grubby, bathroom decor poor, (skirting board rotted) no plug for the bath, windows very poorly maintained, damp, paint flaking, BUT the bed was comfortable!! Evening meal very mediocre, Breakfast just about OK but bacon uneatable, like leather, offered a second sausage instead, but too late. Paid £80 on ***********, but actual price should have been 70...even that would have been excessive for the place. Wouldn't recommend it, and will def NOT be going back...sorry!

Cozy and reasonable
Warm and welcoming…. The outside room was cozy , spare blankets and towels :)

We had big problems when we arrived at 18.00 hrs; it lasted about 1 hr before the host arrived for the check in. The reason was that the Flying Bull closes on Sunday at 17.00 hr and we were asked to contact by telephone, but our efforts unfortunately failed. We had to ask help from *******, but a leaving guest could help us at last.
Anyhow the room and brakfast were at least satyfying.

Stayed away whilst visiting Forest Research in Farnham a 20/25 minute drive away. Plenty of parking, great food (Monday is gourmet burger night) and a filling full English the next morning. Comfortable room with a decent shower and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Friendly people working there and nice landlord/lady.
