Best Hotels in Rogoznica, Croatia

The resort as a whole is beautiful. An amazing location, very easy to get to, backing out on to a private beach with incredible sunset views of the coast and surrounding area. The winding walk along the sea between each property is a highlight in itself; with bar stops, restaurants, plentiful sun loungers, mini golf and other sights/activities over the roughly 2 mile stretch. Free parking is available for those with vehicles, with many sights and tourist locations, such as Krka National Park, only a short drive away. There are very cheap and efficient bus connections in to Sibenik for those without transport just outside the entrance. Hotel Jure itself is immaculate. Everything is set out and presented perfectly. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff. I had the most basic room available (Atrium View) which was spacious, finished to a very high standard and maintained throughout. For 'Atrium View' I would read 'no view at all' but I merely point this out for guests expecting something to look at rather than an outright criticism (I was hardly in the room, in truth). Outward facing rooms either side of the hotel I'm sure would provide pleasant views if that is what you're after. The food is no exception. Quite easily the best buffet breakfast and dinner I've experienced. The latter is worth paying for if you have no intention of leaving the resort. However, I would say that this would be a mistake given the many amazing and reasonably priced food options available in Sibenik. This in mind, you do have the option to attend the buffet dinner at the hotel as and when you please at a reasonable additional price, as well as at the on-site Dalmatian Ethno Village which was a great taste of local flavours. I hope that this is a glowing enough of a review to persuade you to consider this hotel. It really is a gem in the right circumstance. All that said, before you do consider, please, please CHECK THE EVENT SCHEDULE WITH THE HOTEL. The information isn't available online so I believe you will have to contact them directly. I believe this to be an unfair oversight, bordering on suspicious, with the potential for guests to unknowingly end up in the middle of large scale corporate events that dominate and completely take over the entire resort. To be clear, I do not fault the hotel for hosting such events, nor are they at all responsible for event attendee's behaviour, but I 100% would have chosen elsewhere for a relaxing break had I been aware. Should there be an event during your intended stay, you may be lucky. A seemingly smaller event was concluding on the first couple of days. Attendees were polite, kept to themselves and the event didn't feel as though it was intruding on the holiday. Later in the stay, however, it became apparent that I had made the mistake of booking during a much larger, two-night event which saw the resort inundated with loud parties of guests clad in event merchandise; hats & t-shirts, tote bags eve

I travelled to Croatia for the first time in September and had a great time. I stayed in this hotel which Is a family run business and is very welcoming. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and provide great views of the area The hotel includes breakfast with your stay and offers a good restaurant service providing excellent food. On the downside the hotel is a little remote so a car is a must. We used taxis which proved to be a little expensive. There are also taxi ferries from the local port which are a bit more affordable and allowed you to see more of the island. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We booked hotel Jakov after our precious holiday to Rabac in Croatia with TUI was cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. Due to being pregnant and having a doctors note with the date and country we were flying to we had to find somewhere else in Croatia for the same dates. Now I am a fussy traveller, but we came across one holiday that would work with Jet2 Holidays, this gem of a hotel came up, Hotel Jakov which is part of the Amadria Park Resort. The initial reviews looked good so we went for it! It’s an hour away from Split airport and an easy transfer. Check in was busy but quick and rooms were ready for us on arrival. My only grudge about the arrival is that the car park for the hotel was so busy a coach can’t get down to the entrance which meant on arrival and departure you have to walk with all your case from/to hotel Ivan and in the heat this was not pleasant (especially when you are pregnant and with two young children) A mini pick up with their buggy cars would have been lovely. The hotel was spotless, always being cleaned throughout our stay. The rooms very lovely, well presented, looked after, clean and modern. The boys loved the bunk beds, the shower room was brilliant and we lucked out with a wonderful view of the pool and sea! There was a chargeable mini bar if desired, plenty of toiletries restocked daily and air con in the room. We even had a bottle of complimentary water and box of chocolates on arrival to the room. The resort is huge and It took a day or so for us to explore and get to grips with where everything was. It was lovely walking around it each evening whilst dinner was going down. The pools across all the hotels looked beautiful. Word of warning if travelling with children, only ring/doughnut inflatables are allowed in the pool. Not lilos or inflatable animals etc so don’t waste your money on these. The great thing is though that you don’t have people reserving sun beds from early hours! The pool opens at 9am and if you want a bed you can find one no problem at any point in the day. There were a few people who put towels down for the whole day to only use the beds for an hour but this was a minority. The pools were particularly busy in the afternoon but not chaotic and a lovely touch with complimentary champagne and watermelon brought around in the late afternoon each day. (Would be lovely to have had a non alcoholic option for those who do not drink or are pregnant like myself). There is a pirate mini golf, a land train and light up bumper cars on the resort (we didn’t use as a little pricey and our small ones wouldn’t appreciate). They have an open air cinema on the beach every evening, we went twice and this was a major hit with our boys, a wonderful experience. There was ample entertainment for all, we went to the children’s mini disco on a few occasions as well as the kids parade/party. I would love to give the hotel 5 stars. The location is fantastic. A fairly isolated spot a few kilometers from Trogir. Huge grounds slopping down to a beautiful beach. A number of clay tennis courts and soccer fields. There is a boardwalk which in the past had a number of small shops, restaurants, and ticket booths for tours and rentals. Unfortunately since Covid most of them have closed. There is one restaurant, one bar, and one ticket booth remaining. This leads into the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. The hotel food is horrible! You are much better off taking a water taxi to Trogir (4€) if you want a decent meal. The beach restaurant is adequate. The immense hotel itself is an old Soviet style palace which has recently been renovated.The rooms are spartan. The staff needs some hospitality training. My wife was overcharged at the bar. One year we took an apartment/cabin there. It worked out nicely. Despite my complaints we will probably go back for a 4th visit, the area is so nice.
