A two night stay. The motel was desolate, I belive there was only one other guest, so parking was good. Rooms need renovation bad. Old, sticky carpet. A broken window, peeling paint, nasty stained bathtub, bowed shower curtain broken out of drywall. Non smoking room smelled like a ******. I hate cigarettes, so I really noticed. Mattresses are very eco, (cheap) the noisy metal spring type. The stay worked for what I needed. Just a place to crash, and get a shower. But, probably the dumpiest motel I've ever stayed at.

I was not able to stayvand i needed tl fkr my dad funeral instead i slept in my car a
Nd went disgusting all bc they failed to tell us as they watched us struggle with getting .money off .y card that we had to have a cash 100$ deposit also!!!!

This is an older hotel being renovated. They switched out our room because our bathroom sink was clogged. Still some issues that needed to be resolved in the new room but nothing critical. They charge a $20 pet fee, which wasn’t shown on *******. There’s a great diner next door for meals. The beds were comfortable.

It was actually quiet with being next to a truck stop and just off I40. The hotel is doing renovations, painting etc but no issues. Would stay again.

The guest service desk lady was so nice. Checked us in nice and fast and was so friendly! For $70 a night the price can’t be beat. Clean and great smelling rooms. Comfortable bed. Everything you’ll need for a brief stay. Recommend 10/10!

The Walnut Inn is an interesting and nice Hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained. The Hotel is adjacent to the 4 Star Diner and directly across from the Cherokee ******. The only drawback was the truck traffic at all hours of the day and night.
