Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to popular attractions. Right across the street are two large shopping malls, so dining and shopping are also very easy. The hotel breakfast features a variety of authentic Shaanxi specialties; in just one meal, I got to taste delicious dishes like beef paomo, roujiamo, shuiben beef, hulutang, and youcha. The overall service at the hotel was satisfying, friendly, and attentive, with prompt responses to any issues. Five-star rating all around!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. It's about a 15-minute walk to the South Gate of Bell and Drum Tower and Yongning Gate City Wall, both very convenient. There are also many great restaurants nearby the hotel. The front desk staff provided excellent service; 'Yue Liang' (Moon) was particularly helpful, doing their best to accommodate our needs during our stay and even upgrading our room for free. The hotel is clean and has good natural light. Being close to a residential area, it's quite quiet. We traveled as a family, and they arranged our rooms on the same floor, which was very convenient. The facilities are well-equipped, with a sky garden on the fourth floor and a self-service laundry room on the fifth. Overall, our stay was very warm and comfortable. We will definitely come back again.

Guest UserThe room was great and very comfortable. It's also conveniently located near Datang Everbright City. A big thank you to Kiko, Xiaoman, and Sun Bingyue for their patient check-in service. My only suggestion would be to replace the bunk beds with wooden ones or ones with better stability, as the current ones creak quite a bit when you turn over in bed.

WirawantyI only stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel is in a very strategic and convenient location, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. The receptionist was also friendly and welcoming.
However, I had two disappointing experiences during my stay.
1. The room was initially different from what I booked
When I first entered my room, I noticed that it did not appear to match the room I had booked through Trip.com. The layout was different, including the location of the bathtub, and the room also seemed smaller than the one shown in the photos and videos on the booking platform.
I am not sure whether the room was actually the same room category or whether I was given a different type of room by mistake.
I later mentioned this to the staff at the Club Lounge. They were very helpful and immediately assisted me in changing to another room that matched the photos and videos shown in my Trip.com booking. I really appreciated their quick response and assistance. However, I was still left wondering whether the first room was given to me by mistake or whether there was some other misunderstanding.
2. The swimming pool cap policy was confusing
The second experience was regarding the swimming pool.
When my husband and our 2-year-old child wanted to swim, the pool staff told us that swimming caps were mandatory. Since we did not bring any, we immediately went to the pool reception desk to purchase one. At first, I only intended to buy one for my husband, but the staff told us that we had to purchase two caps, including one for our child.
However, my husband noticed a sign at the pool reception desk clearly stating that swimming caps were mandatory for guests aged 3 and above.
We explained that our child was only 2 years old, but the staff still insisted that our child had to wear a swimming cap, so we ended up purchasing two.
After we finished swimming, I passed by the reception desk again and personally checked the sign. It clearly stated that the swimming cap requirement applied to children aged 3 and above.
My child is only 2 years old, and during the time in the pool, he was simply sitting/soaking in the water while being held by his father. I initially had no problem purchasing the cap because I was happy to follow the hotel’s rules. However, after seeing the actual policy on the sign, I couldn’t help but wonder why the staff insisted on making us purchase one for a 2-year-old without first asking about his age.
If the intention is for swimming caps to be mandatory for all ages, then perhaps the wording on the sign should simply be changed to reflect that rule. 😃 Otherwise, the current situation is quite confusing and, honestly, a little ironic.
When checking out, I mentioned this issue to the receptionist. She apologized and kindly gave me a small Xi’an refrigerator magnet as a gesture. Thank you — I genuinely appreciated it.
Overall, the hotel has a great location, and some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, these experiences left me somewhat disappointed with my stay.
I hope the hotel can clarify these policies and improve communication between staff members in the future.
Thank you.

Guest UserI booked this hotel last minute, and it turned out to be the biggest surprise of our trip! The location is unbeatable; right outside, there are bus and subway stations, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Check-in only took two minutes, and they patiently recommended some great local restaurants. Although the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed and didn't feel cramped at all. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with great water pressure, making for a very comfortable shower. For this price, it even included breakfast for two. While the selection wasn't lavish, they had baozi, congee, small dishes, and fruit – more than enough to fill you up. When I checked out, I left something in the room. The cleaning staff found it and immediately handed it over to the front desk, who then promptly contacted me. They were incredibly responsible. Considering the location, cleanliness, and service, it offers excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again next time!

Guest UserLovely hotel, we had a huge room with 2 TVs and probably one of my favourite showers out of hundreds of hotels. The breakfast was great, staff very friendly and great location right at the heart of Xian and only 30-40min by Didi from XianBei (North Station). The exterior of the hotel didn't do it justice, but once you are in the lobby everything is taken care of. Drum and Bell towers are both easily walkable 10-15min stroll through restaurant streets and make a lovely sunset visit (open till 9pm) and wandering around the exciting if slightly chaotic street food vendors of the Muslim Quarter just next to the towers are well exploring. Get some Biang Biang or a Xian traditional Chinese Burger. The Metro is also about 10-15 mins walk roughly near the drum tower which can take you to Huaqing Palace in about 50mins North East of the city (1 simple line change) I suggest you get entry tickets and shuttle for both palace and Terracotta Warriors (+10 mins shuttle from Huaqing Palace).

Guest UserI struck gold with this hotel on my trip to Xi'an, and I wholeheartedly recommend Alley.M Motel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Huimin Street Branch) to anyone visiting the city. First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's only 160 meters from Bell Tower Subway Station and just over 200 meters from the Bell Tower itself. Huimin Street and the Drum Tower are a mere ten-minute walk away, and it's also close to Sajinqiao for a morning market food adventure. The area is teeming with local delicacies like Roujiamo (meat burger) and Yangrou Paomo (pita bread soaked in lamb soup). After enjoying the city wall's night view, it's a pleasant stroll back to the hotel. Plus, it's incredibly convenient to take the subway to attractions like the Terracotta Army and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The hotel boasts a strong sense of design, and the public areas are perfect for photos. The rooms are clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities, including a wet/dry separated bathroom and a fresh air system. The service is also very thoughtful; check-in was efficient, they proactively arranged a quiet room, helped with luggage, and even recommended local eateries. There's also a free laundry room, which is super friendly for tourists. The price is affordable, offering great value for money. I had a fantastic experience during my four-day stay. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xi'an – you can't go wrong with it!

Guest UserLove love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). They even had special prices for popular shows, easily saving more than 50% of the listed price. Thanks for being a home away from home! PS the cats on the 2nd floor is super cute!

Guest UserI wholeheartedly recommend Yafu Hotel! The overall service truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the front desk lady was gentle and kind, and the owner was incredibly hospitable, patiently answering all my travel questions.
I happened to check in during the Dragon Boat Festival, and the hotel thoughtfully gave us festive small gifts. The floral sachet charm was super cute and really enhanced the festive atmosphere. There's a huge guide board for Hanfu scenic spots by the elevator, covered with beautiful ancient-style photos. Routes to places like Mount Hua, the North Station, Shaanxi History Museum, and the Bell Tower are clearly marked, so sisters planning to take Hanfu photos won't need to look up routes everywhere – it's incredibly convenient for getting around.
The room itself was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft, and the natural light was excellent, making for a perfectly comfortable stay. Whether you're traveling solo or visiting Xi'an with friends, this place is a great fit. Both the value for money and service are top-notch, and I strongly recommend it to anyone traveling to Xi'an!

Guest Userthe hotel was located along a main road (behind a wall but they have led signs to guide you there). the room was in a decent condition (some dust below the shelves and in the corners of the room) and the toilet bowl had a funky smell coming out of it, but overall cleanliness is acceptable. the room was also quite large. we were able to have 2 luggages open on the floor and still had space to walk around. the kettle was broken but we didn't need it. the 24hr reception was very responsive and helpful as well. though the hallways are quite loud because they amplify the footsteps and luggage wheels as people walked past. overall a decent and enjoyable stay!
