Best Western® Hotels in Rome

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

Beat western hotels are basically of this style. The advantage is that they have a balcony, but the noise from the roadside is quite loud, so it is recommended to close the windows. If it's hot, open the doors and windows. The indoor air conditioning temperature is set and cannot be adjusted. Optional for short stays. Not far from the subway, there is also a very famous and delicious gelato shop nearby. Many locals line up to buy it and eat it at night~:)

Very clean, there is a Carrefour supermarket downstairs, very quiet at night, the surrounding small restaurants are cheap and authentic, all locals go. It's 910 from the train station, not far from the Vatican. The breakfast was very good, there was a terrace and the National Day rehearsal, that is, no change, but the European breakfast is normal. The room has a refrigerator, four apples on ice, and three left in a day, it's cute.

The service at the counter is great but the room was small with a double bed pushed against the wall and not much room to move beside it. The shower is also very small. There's a fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities. You can buy coffees and alcoholic beveridges at reception if that's your thing. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Metro station.

The hotel is a little old but very clean and the service is good, it is not very central but the truth is that it has a metro stop 350 meters away and Termini 750 meters away

Advantages: Although very biased, but cost-effective. The front desk service is very good, you can help to call taxi at the front desk, very convenient. Breakfast is very cheap, but there are very few options to choose from, but the breakfast in Europe, wherever you go, is nothing more than those things, and the category is a bit less. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet, but the school is a school opposite the day, slightly noisy, but it won't start very early, so it will not affect the rest. There is a balcony, the balcony is very large, sitting on the balcony and smoking a cell phone is very comfortable. Disadvantages: 1. The equipment is really old, the bathroom facilities are very poor, but they are all easy to use, just old. 2. The bed is not very comfortable, it seems that the two mattresses are put together, and there is a dividing line in the middle of sleeping. 3. The lights in the room are very dim, and the tables and chairs feel like what I was at home in the 80s. 4. The surrounding area is not very prosperous. The need to eat is very far away. The supermarket is about 1 km away. It is recommended that the selected small partners buy all of your accommodations in the supermarket one day. You don’t have to go back and forth. 5. It's really a bit biased. It takes about 10-15 Euros to get into the city. The cost is a bit high. Next time I would rather live in the city. In fact, the money for the taxi is coming out every day. But if you have an international driver's license and can rent a motorcycle in Italy, you can still consider it. personal suggestion

The front desk attendant (young guy in his 30s with curly hair: on Tuesday Jan 10 5pm Rome time @ ARS Best Western hotel): The front desk attendant - he was threatening me with violence and was yelling obscenities telling me to f-off and to f-myself! I work for the embassy and nobody has ever talked to me like that ever! I don’t know what his problem was?? 😔 This is inexcusable / he’s telling me to f myself, and that I’m an *****, and to go f off - nobody deserves to be talk like this, no matter what. It is so sad because I stayed almost a week at this hotel and I really enjoyed it, all the other people were super nice and the service excellent! I am really sad, and I don’t know what the heck happened with this guy - I think he has mental problems & needs anger management therapy. So sad 😞 Ricardo

The room is bright, well-equipped, clean and tidy. I managed to check in despite my poor English. The breakfast was also very good and rich in content. Great value for money. After staying for four nights, I could have given it a good review. However, the room is next to the restaurant, separated by a door. At seven o'clock in the morning, there was a ding-ding-dong-dong sound. The hotel promised to change rooms, but I left early and came back late and didn't want to bother. The problem is that the hotel should inform the guest in advance about the noise-affected room, otherwise, even if the room is changed, it will be suspected of being artificially caused by the hotel. It really doesn't match the hotel's reputation. Just a heads up for everyone.

There is a parking lot on the ground floor of the hotel, a little far from the airport, no problem with self-driving! The room was clean, the first hand went straight to the right and the first one was a great restaurant. The breakfast was not fixed. It was also a right-turning, straight-going cafe. It was very good to open a cafe at 5 in the morning.
