The hotel has THE PERFECT LOCATION. It’s walking distance (10 minutes) from the railway station but far away enough to be in a safe area, near 2 amazing basilicas. As you can see in the photos, I had a wonderful view of Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore from the room. The hotel is the restored old granary of Basilica of Santa Prassede. It’s an historic building, each floor has the names of the cereals that were stored here. The staff is very kind, very very efficient and generally lovely. The room was clean, not too spacious, especially the bathroom, but ok. Unfortunately we booked a room with breakfast, but the hotel doesn’t offer this service any longer (not the hotel’s fault, but the booking supplier). Thankfully there are some nice bar in the area and the reception staff was able to direct us (go early as they are all quite busy). Overall I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel's location is very convenient to the station and attractions. Although I was told by the front desk that there was no breakfast, the overall quality of the room was comfortable and satisfactory. Attached is a photo of the skylight in one room;-)

The location of the room is very good, very close to the subway station. The room is a bit small. The front desk is very welcoming, but I don’t know why the hotel’s cups feel prickly when I sleep. It’s not very comfortable. Everything else is good

The hotel’s receptionist was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at ease with our stay. The rooms are very clean and have a beautiful, unique aesthetic which feels modern but still has character. There is no breakfast at the hotel but there are many options just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Advantages: the hotel is very well located in a quiet area and close to everything; the rooms are charming and comfortable. Disadvantages: the service was not great as the room was not ready upon check-in and the second room had malfunctioning appliances. The issue was resolved eventually, we were moved to a different room quite quickly and could settle for the rest of the stay comfortably.

We appreciated the location of this hotel. Close to all the variety of transportation. Michael at the front desk spoke good English and the dining for the breakfast was close and just right.

Loved the historic yet modern nature of accommodations. Our room didn’t look much like the pics online when we booked but had a outside window to the alley. The room was a little on the small side but you see that a lot in Europe. There were 2 English language channels on the tv. The young man at the desk was very kind. The property sent us notice about no breakfast buffet instead we would get a food box was surprised when the did have a pastry and coffee with juice bar on the 3rd floor. Near by was restaurants and needed options all within a few blocks. The Alley was kind of filthy and front was not as welcoming as I was expecting based on online pics. Was a good stay, at an affordable rate, with a great location.

Really nice hotel, room perfect. Very comfortable and ideal for a city break. Staff was polite and helpful. Close to the train station. The only issue was the shower cubicle was very small for a adult. Overall very good.

I would never recommend this property to anyone.

The room was dirty with ants and flying bugs. Sheets seem to have not been changed. The staff didn't seem to care.
