I’ve been inside hundreds of hotels and I gotta say, this is like the 2nd worst room I’ve ever had. I know it’s kinda cheap but honestly, they’d have to pay me to sleep here again. It’s really not worth it to save money - you might as well just not get a hotel.
Room smelled like someone had been smoking up a storm in there. Carpet looked super old and worn out - might as well scrap it for a new rug or add tile. Have to buzz-in every time and tell the front desk person that you have a room there when you need to go through the first door. The second door, you need to enter in a key code. Then you can finally walk to your room.
The shower doors were falling apart and wouldn’t slide properly. No shampoo or body wash - just a small hand soap bar. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows - barely any cushion in them to sink in when you’re feeling exhausted from a long day. No door-sign to say you want room service or not to be disturbed. Didn’t matter actually because they didn’t even ask if I needed room service. Giant holes in the carpet under my bed, wonder how that happened. No hot water, it’s between cold and warm when you turn it up all the way. The wifi signal is so weak, forget about it. Super loud in the lobby in the morning, no concern for people still sleeping. When I was checking in, I was asked to pay the 10 euro city tax in cash only. Only had card and he attempted to get his card reader to work, gave up and said “just send me the cash tomorrow morning”.
