I experienced an unacceptable situation with my hotel booking. Despite the negligible price difference between single and double occupancy rooms, the hotel refused to simply charge the price difference when I needed to modify my reservation. Instead, they forced me to purchase an additional room and charged an exorbitant 50 euros per day to change to a double room. This resulted in my paying nearly double the original cost, which is completely unacceptable. At reputable hotels, they would have simply covered the small price gap and amended the reservation without issue. This hotel's inflexible and exploitative policies are completely unacceptable. I regret not booking with a more customer-oriented brand that understands proper hotel hospitality.

I strongly doubt some of the hotel staff are ******. On June 29, 2024, around 3:00 PM, I sat in the hotel lobby for half an hour before checking in, and on July 1, 2024, after checking out at 10:58 AM, I sat in the same place for another 40 minutes because my train was not due yet. I cannot be completely sure if the two front desk staff members were the same each time, but during my time in the lobby, they exhibited racial discrimination. They actively provided travel information and farewells to guests from Western countries, but only performed routine duties for all Asian guests. I personally witnessed two front desk staff members verbally attacking an Asian guest in Italian when the guest couldn’t find their bank card quickly （I think the guest does not understand Italian） While language barriers or cultural differences might affect communication and expression, such behavior is appalling for professionals in the service industry. There is already too much ugliness and injustice in this world. Why does such a low-level act occur in Rome, a world-renowned tourist city? This behavior undoubtedly tarnishes Italy’s reputation and was the biggest disappointment of my trip to Italy. Ps：Some major issues with this hotel: 1. The single bed room is an individual room within a suite, so the soundproofing is poor. You can hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. If you have no choice but to stay here, please use earplugs. 2. The shower space is extremely narrow, similar to a student dormitory in the UK. It’s hard to imagine a four-star hotel in 2024 having such a cramped bathroom.

Great location, 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum. Good restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Our room was superior, the staff were courteous, helpful giving directions, advice and help with transportation. And the included breakfast was the best I have ever experienced. Would stay there again,

I loved everything about my stay here. All the staff were welcoming and eager to help. They remember your name and make you feel very comfortable during your visit. They breakfast had plenty of options. They have a nice lounge area where you can relax after a long day out.

The hotel is very chic and fancy, we really love it. There breakfast is very tasty as well!

Efficient check in, arrived early in the morning but still assign a room for us. Location is nice except many stairs has to be taken. Not good for many luggage to carry.

Shower doors cannot close properly

Our room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was a not very satisfactory trip. We got the wrong room on the first day, changed to a twin room on the second day, and there was a problem with the charge on the last day. The hotel bathroom was very small and I couldn't even turn around when taking a shower. The only thing I was satisfied with was that the air conditioning was cool enough.

I liked everything, clean, beautiful. Yes, the building is old, the furniture is vintage, but everything is very well maintained. Excellent breakfasts, pleasant staff. Excellent price/quality ratio. Thank you for your welcome!

It takes about ten minutes to walk from the train station to this place. Most of the roads are OK and you can pull the suitcases. There is a small section of the road that is covered with stone characters and it is difficult to pull the suitcases. Overall, it is OK. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a park directly opposite the hotel. The subway entrance is right in front of the hotel. It is very convenient to go anywhere. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Colosseum from here. There was no hot water kettle in the room at first, but later I asked him for one and he gave me breakfast which was also very good and normal. The shortcomings are that the exhaust fan in the toilet is a little loud, and the water in the bathing area is relatively slow. There are two convenience stores near the hotel, as well as Chinese restaurants and Chinese supermarkets nearby, which is good.

The hotel is a 12-minute walk from Rome Train Station. It is clean and comfortable. The triple room has a double bed and a single sofa bed, two windows, good ventilation, air conditioning and a refrigerator. The breakfast is OK, the juice is not freshly squeezed, and there are no freshly made snacks, which is quite satisfactory. The city tax for the room is relatively high, 7.5 euros per person per day, and the cost performance is average. This is the only hotel in this European trip that actually requires a deposit, and the service needs to be improved.
