The hotel is located in a very nice year , quiet and close to the embassies . It is quite small and feels a boutique . There a few nice restaurants and small corner shops around it. There is a parking garage next door but it has some weird hours so check them out before parking there. It is max 10 minute walk to Borgese gardens (highly recommended) and about 20 to Trevi and Spanish steps . Just walking in those directions is very enjoyable and not tiring at all. The front office was one of the best I have ever encountered- especially the female receptionist (don’t remember her name:( We were upgraded to a very nice deluxe room with a huge balcony - terrace. The room was spacious , very comfortable and looked just fresh from renovation. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had the breakfast only once but it was a small selection but more than enough and tasty to fuel up. I want to commend the lady who worked at the breakfast restaurant as well as the bar in the mornings. Very nice attitude ! The check out was also very quick and nice. I was going to give it 5 stars , but a few glitches compelled me to downgrade one notch. 1. The walls are really thin . But the windows were noise proof - nothing came in from the outside 2. The room control display by the entrance door wasn’t functioning properly , not was it easy to operate. 3. A couple of times during our stay we didn’t have hot water - we were told there was some problem with the water heater . 4. The housekeeping was very good , but a bit too persistent. They knocked our door a couple of times asking when we were going to vacate the room, and then made the reception call us asking the same. A bit too much. But despite these minor issues , we really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Will definitely return.
