The hotel was decent to be honest very clean in a busy area of Rome but also close to everything you need from restaurants , shops to bar etc….

We slept both at the annex and at the main hotel. The annex is like 3 stars

ALBERGO centralissimo, camera carina anche se affacciata su corte interna che sicuramente necessita di ristrutturazione a cominciare dalla facciata. colazione non all'altezza di un 4 stelle.

Very central HOTEL, nice room even if it overlooks an internal courtyard which certainly needs renovation starting from the facade. breakfast not up to 4 star standards.

Lo staff gentilissimo sempre disponibile anche se c’è stato qualche intoppo ma il receptionist è stato davvero super gentile !Colazione semplice ma abbondante c’erano le cose principali! Vista magnifica

Tivemos uma péssima experiencia. Quando chegamos na recepção do hotel fomos supreendido que o hotel estava cheio e por isso ele iria nos colocar em uns quartos em outro prédio a uma distancia de 10 minutos a pé. Enfim, chegamos nesse apartamento, por sinal muito antigo, sem segurança nenhuma, sem serviço de quarto, sem café da manha. Entramos em contato com a Trip. e prontamente eles resolveram o nosso problema e ai fomos para outro hotel. Não indico esse hotel para ninguem, pois está longe de ser um 4 estrelas.

We had a bad experience. When we arrived at the hotel reception we were surprised that the hotel was full and so he would put us in some rooms in another building at a distance of 10 minutes walking. Anyway, we arrived at this apartment, which is very old, by the way, without any security, without room service, without breakfast. We contacted Trip. and promptly they solved our problem and then we went to another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone as it is far from a 4 star.

We stayed in Hotel 55, Rome for 4 nights. The room for 3 was adequate. Breakfast is excellent. Service very courteous and the location tops it all.   In Rome, location is the key. Every other location is walkable if you can walk for 20-30 mins. This is prime location for shopping as well.

DO NOT SET FOOT!!!  We booked 2 rooms at this hotel only to be informed upon our arrival that the rooms are in separate buildings with over a 5 minute walk apart. We did not accept this since we booked 2 rooms together in 1 Hotel and the receptionist did not want to give us the rooms in one building. After arguing with him for over 30minutes he then called the owner which made things even worse! The owner expected us to pay an additional fee of €70 to give us a room in the same building!!! We again did not accept to pay more to have what we initially paid for and the receptionist got furious and started swearing and insulting us.  A complete ripoff. Save yourself for a horrible experience!!!
