This was a special midweek stay we arrive and greeted by caretaker who checked us in then asked for bedroom tax 20 euro. We were given two codes and one key a lot to remember felt like a caretaker then was told no one is here from five onwards we didn’t see anyone after 2pm .Shown to our room were it was so disappointing. Very small bed was small one sheet one pillion each very hard one small cabinet and single wardrobe no amenities, had to ask for iron we’re they found one in a neighbours apartment . Plug on wall was lose so unsure to use NO Internet access when asked was told it’s bad connection. ? Shower was full of lime scale unable to use to no water pressure because of the crust around it . Looking out of the window was faced with other windows and knickers swinging around off a line which looked disgusting. Should be a court yard was full of Brocken bikes and scooters dead plants and a mouse in the corner dead. Breakfast was 8/10 am where it was a self service of fruit yogurt and ham and cheese croissants . The man serveing the hot drinks was lovely it’s a small place fits four small tables and two chairs each . Of a night a sirens would go off when asked they said it’s from the offices above yes this is not a hotel its one floor inside office and apartments . Photos are not of rooms would not allow me to upload video.

An excellent base to visit Rome. Perfectly situated in a quiet back street just around the corner from the shuttle bus and walking distance from the delights that Rome has to offer. Not to be missed.

We enjoyed a lot stay at Piccolo Imperiale. The location is amazing, near by restaurants and easy way to go to mainly turistic spots. The breakfast is super good! Next trip to Rome Piccolo will be pur place again! Thanks so much!!

Nice hotel with everything you need and a great price for a getaway to Rome with a very good location, behind Castello Sant’Angelo and 10/15 minutes walking from the Vatican. The staff is very friendly and ensured we had a very good stay and helped us very well!

Courteous and helpful staff, good location near Castel Sant'Angelo and the Lepanto A metro stop. Clean and welcoming room with air conditioning. The only flaw is the wi-fi, which is not always able to guarantee a stable connection. Overall a positive experience, I would go back.

A ghost establishment boss who does not pass on the right information to his staff. On arrival, no one was there. A double room for 4 in place of the family room provided... dilapidated bathroom. Nevertheless, good geographical location, well served and friendly staff.

Excellent location, good service. Easy access, there is a lift. Clean environments. Reasonable breakfast. It is located 50 meters from the bus stop that takes you directly to the airport, good restaurants nearby, 100 meters from Castel Sant Angelo, 5 minutes from the Vatican.

They change my daughter's room without even a call. Big scare when you arrive at night and find another couple in your room. They had picked up her suitcase and taken it to another room without telling us. There is no coverage in the room. You have to go out to the window to talk on the phone. I thought that I had contracted with breakfast and when I arrived they told me that it was not so.

Hotel very well located, and very very friendly staff. Bus stop next to the hotel to access the airport. And above all, close to the Vatican City. Convenient for visiting the main monuments of the city. Awesome!

Very large, clean and bright room. The breakfast room is small, although they give you the option of taking it on a tray to the room. The breakfast itself, quite good, toast, croissant, muffins, cake, fruit, juices, cereals, yogurt... the staff is very friendly, although they have a bit of a problem with Spanish, but they make an effort to understand you and attend to your requests. The hotel is well located, the Vatican is 10 minutes away, and the center is 15 minutes away. The only drawback is the bathroom, which is in need of renovation. Highly recommended

I stayed for 3 nights at the Piccolo Imperiale with my daughter. Strategically located and in a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable and quiet rooms. The staff guy was very courteous. I would definitely book another stay.

Structure with excellent location, strategic with respect to the center of Rome and in a very quiet area. Excellent cleanliness of the entire structure and also of the room. I recommend some extra attention such as a free city map and some agreements with nearby restaurants and bars. (The service provided with QR code indicated distant and expensive restaurants) A little maintenance on the bathroom wouldn't hurt. I encountered difficulties in communicating with the structure by email and booking portal in the sense that I never received a response and I had to call without being able to have written confirmation of what was requested. I can't comment on breakfast because the booking didn't include it. Overall, an experience worth repeating and a structure worth keeping in your favorites list.

Hotel ideally located, both close to the city center (+Castle Sant'Angelo, Vatican), transport lines and both in a quiet street. Very pleasant staff and beautiful building. Very beautiful room, secure establishment (opening of building doors with codes and various keys) and very comfortable beds. However, some small details need to be reviewed in the room: some traces of humidity, wallpaper that is peeling, cleaning is done on the surface but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired in a few small “hidden” places/in a few small corners. The room was designated “with a view” (which was actually just a view of the street) and with a balcony (which could only hold a flower planter). The evening of our arrival, we were told that the air conditioning was not working and we were offered to change rooms but which was located further into town. Being tired from our day of travel and given the time it was, we chose to refuse.

Late check-in. I pre-announced the time of arrival, because I had an appointment in the area. As a result, I had to wait in the heat under the door for 40 minutes for the administrator to appear and make excuses why I was late for the meeting. The furniture in the room is broken. The breakfast was good. Cleaned up every day.
